This Sunday! Dell Inspiron One 2320

Posted by Chris - Dell Expert 1327609163.097

Hello, everyone. It finally feels like we’re settling into 2012, although it still looks weird to write that year out…

I’m really excited to show you all the first Dell TSV of the year coming up on Sunday, January 29. For the first time as a TSV, we’re bringing our Touchscreen All-in-One desktop, the Inspiron One 2320. I’ve been playing around with this system a lot lately, and it's such a cool addition to my house. We have ours set up in the kitchen, and it works wonderfully as a hub for all of our family computer needs.

The Inspiron One features an all-new simple, clean design that you’ll want to show off. The fact that it’s an all-in-one means the 23.5" high-definition monitor houses the entire computer…there’s no separate tower that needs to be plugged in. Since it has built-in wireless connectivity, you can move it wherever you like and be connected to the Internet: the kitchen, the office, the living room. And considering we’re including a wireless keyboard and mouse, a power cord is the only wire needed. I’m one of those people who hates clutter, so this is my kind of desktop!

Aesthetics aside though, what I really love about the Inspiron One is the software that organizes, connects and entertains my family. It starts with Dell Stage, which takes your most frequently used files and programs and places them in easy-to-access tiles right on your desktop, a perfect complement to the Touchscreen. We've integrated an incredible program called Cozi, which is a family organizer, including a calendar, to-do lists, shopping lists—everything you need to keep your household in order. At my house, the Cozi calendar sits on the desktop and I check it every morning before heading out to work. When I update the calendar throughout the day from my phone or work PC, my wife sees the change at home on the Inspiron One. Photo Stage, Video Stage and Music Stage are wonderful applications that allow you to intuitively organize and edit your digital media. You have quick access to video download websites so you can purchase movies easily and even upload your own videos or photos to Facebook with two clicks. And with the integrated JBL speakers and full HD screen, movies look great and music sounds amazing, too. My 3-year-old son Owen would tell you the best thing about this computer is the games that are built for the Touchscreen. The virtual drum set and keyboard are his current favorites.

The Inspiron One comes pre-installed with a brand-new file-sharing application called SyncUP powered by Nero. SyncUP is a fantastic tool for those of us with multiple PCs in the house. It allows you to wirelessly share music, video, photos and documents between the PCs on your network. I also use it to upload files to The Cloud so they're viewable outside of my home network. It’s a great way to share photos with friends and family and also access documents and pictures when I’m not at home.

Along with all this added fun stuff, the Inspiron One is everything you need from a desktop PC. Microsoft Office Starter 2010 is installed, so you can utilize Word and Excel. It has an Intel Pentium dual-core processor, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive. It also has a built-in DVD +/- RW that allows you to play and record to both CDs and DVDs. The computer has 6 USB ports and an 8-in-1 media card reader, so connecting to peripherals and uploading your photos is a snap. The 23.5" HD panel has a built-in webcam so you’re all set to start video chatting with friends and family. We Skype pretty regularly with the grandparents, and this has been a really nice system to do it from. And the Inspiron One has a 1-year hardware warranty with in-home service in case you run into any issues.

A lot of details here, I know, but there’s a lot this computer can do. Tune in on Sunday and I’ll show you live how all of it comes together. Thanks for reading and I’ll see you soon!

Could you please tell me more about application called SyncUP powered by Nero. We have 2 laptops (Dell by the way - Love them!) - could we share documents betwen all our Laptops and New Dell PC if we get TSV Dell PC? Would we need anything extra to install to our laptops in order to share documents betwen all computers? Thank you. Giedra Brittigan

I am interested in purchasing this computer, it looks really cool - but I will also need a printer. I know some printers can be a bit touchy when it comes to compatibility. Is there a printer you would recommend for this computer?

I would like very much to purchase this computer, but I am not sure about the Office Starter. I called microsoft and they said it would be $149.95 to purchase the Home and Student Edition. Why do all of the computers offered only have the Office Starter. I wish they would present one with the Home/Student Edition.

Chris. Please quit making us work so hard when deciding which computer will work best for us. start putting them in categories. Stop all the bloat ware to make people buy. Let us know which systems have the best graphics and if they are upgradable. (so we don't have to Google graphics cards). Most of us know that we can upgrade storage and ram so this is not what we look for. But we are ignorant on other specifications. I know you get the jest of what I am asking. QVC needs to start organizing and categorizing computers. Example: whats best for gamers? Whats best for picture and music enthusiasts. etc... sacrifice something else and Offer full MSO for students. Please help Chris. I just bought another dell but not without 2 days (and nights of researching all the specs. Thank you in advance

PS.. QVC most of the bloat ware doesn't even work on the computers you send it with. example: you sent wizard chest with one of my computers and the graphics on the computer did not even support the game. Also sent a outdated family tree maker. Thankfully the company upgraded me for free.

Giedra, thank you for the Dell love {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}. Hopefully you caught some of the presentation where we talked about SyncUp, but here is the site where you can download it for your other devices. The site also has more information on how it works: http://dellsyncup.nero.com/enu/start/

Hi, Sun. Sorry for the delay. If you are still in the market for a printer, check out item # E222260. This is actually the printer I use at home and we love it. It's wireless, does everything and would work well with this PC. Hope this helps!

They sent the wrong computer. QVC blames Dell and Dell blames QVC bottom line after several call with rude customer service people at QVC is that I will not be getting my computer because they are out of it. Dell will not match the price. although the customer service was far supirior to qvc and not one of them transfered be back to the Q hold line as the qvc reps did. My cousin called from 5 hours away and they sent the wrong computer to him as well. (we will never know how many people this is happening to. The computer they are sending out is a I3 with 4 gb ram. What a waste of time and frustration and all they can say is send it back. So my question to you is can you help?? I want my computer and so does my cousin!

I have canacled all my autoships with qvc and will no longer shop with this company because I spend to much money to be treated like this.

Hello Chris, The 2320 looks great, but why can't you offer the top of the line 2320. Core i7, 6 or 8 gigs of ram, 1TB HD and a blue ray player. I would buy it and I think tons of other people would purchase this machine. i3 is ok but it's dated. I know Dell sells the updated version of the 2320. Please give the customers what they want !!!

If you want to buy a computer from the lousiest company possible, buy a Dell. I bought an expensive Dell, which was nothing but trouble. I called Dell with a problem, got transferred to someone in Texas who didn't have a clue after 45 minutes and was transferred to INDIA where nothing got resolved after an hour of trying to communicate in English-as-a-second-language format. I finally gave the computer to a neighborhood kid.

To make matters worse, the computer was 100% paid for but Dell sold my name to a credit collection agency in INDIA and I cannot to this day get rid of them.

Today I wrote a formal letter of complaint about Dell to my state Attorney General to get this straightened out.

DO NOT BUY A DELL!!!

Hi Chris,

Can you explain how I can cycle through my open windows like demonstrated on the show? I can't figure out how to do that.

Thanks

Chris I am looking for a new laptop, I would for it to have a webcam, office 2010, 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-2430M processor,15.6" diagonal HD LED TrueLife display with 720p 1366x768 resolution, 8GB dual-channel DDR3 SD RAM memory, 640GB 5400 RPM SATA hard drive, All this, and you get a suite of software including Adobe Photoshop Elements 9, PDF Converter 7, Hasbro Family Game Night, System Mechanic 10, and more. And consider yourself protected by an included four-year subscription to McAfee AntiVirus Plus 2010. If you have one with all of this I would like to know thanks Randy

Randy I would suggest you check out item #E168147...I purchased this a few weeks ago and the computer meets all the requirements you're looking for. The software suite also has most of what you're looking for as well, with the exception of PDF Converter, Hasbro Family Game Night and McAfee AntiVirus. The software suite does come with a Lifetime Subscription of Trend Micro Titanium+ AntiVirus though. I hope this helps you out....Christopher
