One of the things I love about being a woman is all that we have to look forward to. Seriously. Sometimes I feel sorry for the guys…They can't enjoy the constant quest for the perfect lip gloss or the mission for that one shadow that makes your eyes the shade of green you wish they were every day.
We women have an amazing capacity for anticipation, for looking forward, for seeing possibilities. Look at all of the options we have to look younger, get better hair, enjoy gorgeous skin! Women are optimists and the little things can make us so happy!
Remember that feeling you would get on Christmas Eve, when you couldn't fall asleep because you were so excited about the next morning? That's the feeling I get when I know a new beauty item is on its way to my house. The perfect lip gloss…the eyeliner that makes my eyes really pop…the hair mask that makes my hair feel like silk. I love all of it…and it never makes your butt look big. Ha!
See you Friday Night! Let's get beautiful together!
Lisa, I think that's great you are hosting Friday Night Beauty this week! I will be watching. You are a very honest, sincere, knowledgeable, and intelligent host.
I love watching when you're hosting! Will be definately tuning in on Friday
Hi Lisa..I'll be there glued to the television..It's funny, my DH is the one who reminds me when it's coming on..I think, secretly, he likes to look at you too...lololololol
He always says "honey, your show's about to start." Gotta love that...
Faith-Anne - 49 - dry menopausal skin - cool/fair - blue/green eyes, highlighted blond hair..
LISA, LISA, LISA... love, love, love to watch you and the fun you have with all the beauty items. "new colors are comparable to a new box of crayons on the first day of school"... isn't that something you once said, or was it Leslie Blodgett? whatever... it's TRUE!!!
my DH doesn't understand why you wave goodbye to a caller, but crazy man that he is, he will smile and wave right back at you. it's a too-funny-for-words picture!
see you tomorrow night!
Hi Lisa - I'm so glad to hear you will be hosting Friday Night Beauty! YAY!!!
I am so happy that you are hosting Friday Night Beauty! The tips you offer are informative and you bring a real joy to the cosmetics shows. I am just elated that the Beauty show is now on Fridays. As I indicated on a previous thread, I go to Mass on Saturday evenings and manage to miss out on things.
I enjoy your presentations with Leslie, Laura Geller, Cristina, Dara, Mally and even Dr. Rob (even though, it's hard for a Longhorn to admit having something invented by an Aggie).
Thank you, again, for the heads-up! I think that FNB will be a blast!
Yeah! i have missed you on Friday nights.
"Save time... see it my way!"
I get that same feeling when I know I have a delivery coming - and if it gets to my house earlier than expected, like my second A-D of the Perricone CP TSV did today - well, I'm just beside myself!!! And it is fun being a woman, having all these fun things to play with. Though there are some days I wish I could be like my hubby - shower, brush teeth, and go (though he does use a little styling product in his hair...but it takes, like, a minute to do his hair, not like mine which takes much longer!!).
Looking forward to FNB!
I'll be tuned in for sure! So glad to see you in this new show!
I couldn't agree more! I think I must be your twin..lol. I look forward to watching and learning..thanks for what you do Lisa!!
you are so right! so glad you're hosting this friday because you are my fav! so glam and gorgeous! you really brighten my evening especially on nights when my hubby's on call.
and ps Lisa buxom is my new go to buxom!!! luv it so much I just bought backups!!!
Lisa, I love watching you too. I always know you will be entertaining.
Over 70 years old, very dry skin, no wrinkles except for deep lines around mouth.
"Women Are Not Men's Property!"
YAY, Lisa's hosting FNB!
I'll be watching now for sure.
"You make me feel like I've been locked out of heaven, for too long, for too long"
Lisa, love your enthusiasm. How about a "theme" for FNB? We all need to update our looks. How about a slow tranformation? Start out small, like the brows or lipliner. We, as viewers, would be captivated and most likely buy all the products you demo. By the end of summer, you will have updated your personal look and moved most of us to become more current. Clarisonic demos don't count - we get it.
> Life is short so...kiss slowly, laugh insanely, love truly, and forgive quickly!
I'm so glad you will be hosting the show. I'll be watching!
What lies behind us and what lies before us
are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
I'm so happy you are hosting Friday NIght Beauty. I watch you every week on P.M. Style. You are informative and entertaining. You bring an energy to your shows that no one else matches, and, I love your sense of humor.
I would like to make one request. When a foundation is being offered in several shades, could you put some on the back of your hand, or somewhere other than the container so that we can see the shade more clearly? Sometimes when it is in a tube, such as Laura Geller's Real Deal, it is hard to tell the depth of the shade.
Thanks so much, see you tonight.
Hi Lisa! I always look forward to any show you're hosting, you are very entertaining! My request has nothing to do with beauty products, but denim & co. petite stretch jeans. Please, please, please bring them back! I am 5ft tall and a large gal, but losing weight each week! These jeans are so great and the fit is so perfect for me. Please have them back on one of your fashion segments - at this moment, I am on the wait list for the 2 sizes I ordered (current size & next anticipated size down!). I can't find jeans that fit this well anywhere else! Thanks!
I loved the show last night. Does anyone know where Lisa got her blouse that she wore on the show? It was great! But then she looks great in everything.
Oh get real!! It's time you, Lisa, stop trying to be 17 years old and accept the fact you are near 50. That doesn't mean you have to act like an old lady (and believe me 50 isn't old), but it does mean you need to sell "real beauty" and "real clothing" and "real life" expections. It is certainly strange that there is only one model on the runway at a time who is the size of an "average American woman" but 3-4 models of the size 4-6 example.
Monday, May 10th's PM Style was ridiculous with all the junior high giggles and gut-busting laughter by Lisa herself. Has no one figured out she is supposed to be a professional sales person and not a model or a comediene?
And please try showing the back side of a garment.
I am sooooooooo happy Lisa R. is hosting Friday Night Beauty!! I saw you last week and it is such a refreshing change. I will be watching when you are on...love you as a host!
FYI, PM Style is all about FUN and it takes the viewer away for a short time from all the way too serious things going on in the world. Kudos to Lisa for trying to do this for a short time in our hectic lives. I happen to be over 50 and am not a size 4-6 but love, love, love to watch and laugh!
yes, we girls do love our beauty products don't we, i just wish that you'd tone it down some. i do like when you host, and not the other, but when is the q going to bring us new products. i feel as though i see the same vendors and products week after week sometimes. i would love something new and exciting that makes me think wow, the q is really stepping it up. i have a whole list of cool, and exciting companies that would be able to keep up with the demands of the customer base at the q. plz. go on the hunt again for cool, and unique products. we all don't want wrinkle products, or expensive machines...just something fun!!!!
You wanna look so talented..it's literally hurting you. I want a look that's so optimistic that it could cure cancer. That's what I'm talking about!
Vocal Adrenaline coach Shelby Corcoran on Glee
Lisa - can you please find out from Leslie what black and white BOLD right she was wearing on Saturday May 15th during Bare Escentuals? It is a bold (almost panda looking ring)
I have to have that

Hey Lisa, Always enjoy your shows even when I am not purchasing something. In my opinion, if someone is not happy with the content of a show, who cares? Turn the channel or mute the television. All the best to you............
