A few months ago, I was walking down the hall when Marissa, one of the behind-the-scenes beauty girls I love, said, "Did you hear the news? You have a new beauty show!" I said, "Cool!," and she said, "That's the name!" I'm so happy to share the premiere of Now That's Cool with Jane—Beauty Edition with you on Tuesday, September 18 at 6pm ET. I'm so excited! For a year, I've been thinking about a special beauty show filled with fun and interaction with expert guests, and the first look is Tuesday. As the mother of a teenager and a woman who's proud to embrace every age (OK, I'm 50!), I want all of us to celebrate who we are, where we are, and hopefully this show will lead us there!
Highlights include my first choice, Maria McCool with Calista Tools Embellish. She has the right name (ha, ha) and has been a huge part of the traditional That's Cool show. Her product has so many "cool factors" that we look for.
Since some wonderful genius invented HD television, we're using airbrush foundation in the makeup room at QVC on all of the hosts and guests. Which brand do we use? TEMPTU! A cool, new version of their makeup system will be in the premiere on Tuesday.
And, I never imagined this would happen, but Joan Rivers will be in the house!! I'm over the moon about having her as my pick of the show. And the most youthful beauty trick is white teeth, so look for my favorite in the hour as well.
