SEPHORA by OPI at QVC!

Originally available only to pros, OPI has long been one of the most-requested nail polishes at salons from coast to coast. Season after season, fashion forecasters keep a close eye on the brand’s cleverly named collections, because if OPI says it’s going to be big, you can pretty much count on it.

Savvy Sephora has partnered with OPI to create a collection of long-lasting, chip-resistant nail lacquers free of DBP, toluene, and formaldehyde, and housed in ergonomically designed bottles. Until recently, the colors have been available at just one place: Sephora. Now that the line has landed at QVC, it’s carried by an exclusive club of two.

On next Monday’s PM Style with Lisa Robertson, SEPHORA by OPI will premiere with the limited-edition Urban Ballerina collection — the chicest season-spanning set of four mini polishes, which comes bundled with full-size bottles of salon-quality top coat and base coat. I love the petite quartet of opaque colors because it’s part edgy, part elegant; flattering on all skin tones; and offers a perfect opportunity to experiment with trends.

OPI

There’s Leotard-Optional, an opaque mocha beige; The Way Tutu His Heart, an opaque light “ballet” pink; Who’s Spinning Tonight?, a metallic true grape (huge for fall and continuing to be popular for spring); and Break a Leg-Warmer!, a charcoal gray (the new neutral).

SEPHORA by OPI is partnering with QVC for Fashion Week, so look closely at the models during our shows on February 11 and 12 to see how beautifully these colors complete their looks.

There’s plenty more to look forward to from the line in the future, including Chic Prints, innovative design appliqués crafted in conjunction with the brand Minx. You may have noticed Minx prints popping up on celebrities, and now this avant-garde accessory is accessible to everyone. The patterned, metallic pre-cut strips in Pink Fishnet or Chrome Lace (see below) can be cut to fit any nail for what is sure to be a conversation-starting mani or pedi. Technique is key — you’ll want to apply the chic print to the bed of the nail first, then push out toward the tip of the nail for a smooth finish. Applied properly with the included top coat and crystal file, they’ll last for one or two days. It’s a fun way to shake up your look for a special occasion…or just because.

Love it! Will definitely tune in to V-Day PM Style. Looks like a great value, OPI is a fantastic nail polish but I'm a junkie (collected over 50 colors). The beige/mocha is definitely IN right now, and you can never go wrong with a French or American mani. The purple looks like a fun bonus.

The best part is that OPI is a philanthropic corporation and their profits go to benefit many wonderful organizations for a multitude of causes.

Gorgeous nails for a purpose, sign me up!!! {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

While it is true OPI is a quality professional line of polish which was once only available to professionals, it is now available in many stores and online to the general public.

While it is great that the Q is now offering Sephora OPI, the price point for 4 mini bottles 'bundled' along with one bottle of top coat & one bottle of bottom coat is way too high.

The colors are not unique & very similar, if not the same as many other brands available.

Adding in tax and shipping brings the price close to $40.00 for 4 mini bottles (and a top & bottom coat which are not unique and very comparable other less expensive brands).

I have to agree. I think this is priced much to high for mini bottles.

I wholeheartedly agree! The mini nailpolish set is available at Sephora dot com for eighteen dollars. Sorry QVC, you missed the mark on this one...no "value" here!!

Regarding the Chic Prints similar to Minx nails. i have ordered these from sephora. the article above states they would last a couple of days. I had to remove mine after 2 weeks because of the space between my cuticle and the applicaton. I got alot more wear out of them. BTW I put Seche Vite over them after i applied them.

The mini Ballerina nail set at Sephora doesn't come with a base or top coat. If you add the Ballerina nail care collection it adds another $25.

But I am not that crazy about those particular colors enough to order a set for $30.

I do look forward to more colors at great prices...we will see that right?
