Jewelry means many things to many people. It can be just an accessory, a celebration of an accomplishment, or it can symbolize a milestone. It can also be a reminder of those who mean so much to us; those who have been an endless source of support and who have helped us through times we’d thought were impossible to get through.
Those invaluable loved ones were the inspiration behind my Life Is Half Full jewelry collection. I wanted to create pieces that celebrated them. Pieces that celebrated those who somehow were able to help us view life as a glass that’s half full rather than ... Continue Reading

OK, my Wardrobe Warriors. I’m currently traveling through Asia with my partners visiting fabric mills and print design houses. It’s a busy trip filled with meetings and shopping, but I have to stop and take a moment to tell you how this trip almost didn't happen.
After spending Friday with you celebrating spring style, I went back to NYC to unwind a bit before leaving for my flight Sunday evening. After spending the day with my little Aya, I was at home relaxing. At about 10:30pm, I get a text from my partner Eva asking where I was. She was at JFK waiting for our 12:50am flight, a... It’s so easy to focus on the things that need to change, and to forget to celebrate the things that are perfect just the way they are. This year let’s also make the resolution to love ourselves, and to add a little Attitude to everything we do.
This is what was on my mind when I was designing my Women with Control® Printed Tunic and Ankle Pants Set. I wanted to create a set that was easy to wear and easy to fall in love with. I worked hard on creating prints that are as full of Attitude as you are, and on pants that give you the Control you deserve. Loving yourself and s... Continue Reading

With Hanukah coming up in about two weeks, I wanted to share with you what I did last year to celebrate. Justin and I were fortunate enough to celebrate the holiday with friends in Sydney, Australia! We went to a party where my friends’ son brought his own menorah. While traveling during Chanukah, he always remembers to bring his menorah. How beautiful it was to light the candles surrounded by dear friends.
It’s important to continue traditions while traveling across the globe, especially during the holiday season. We all have such hectic schedules that we need to remember... Continue Reading

Nothing makes me happier than to bring back my Life Half Full enhancer. Many of you have complimented my pendant and asked why I wear this every day.
My father always told me to look at life as if the glass was half full and I have carried this mantra with me through the highs and lows of my life. I designed the Life Half Full enhancer with colors of beautiful gemstones to represent all the friends and family who gave me the strength to remain positive through challenging times and have cheered my successes.
I love giving these as gifts to people who are special in my life and it helps k... Continue Reading

This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for the ability to stop the mad rush of design meetings and on-air appearances and take some time to enjoy the friends and loved ones I don’t get to see often enough. Living in such a fast paced world we forget to take a step back and really appreciate where we come from. I sometimes forget how wonderful New York City can be during the holidays. From Thanksgiving to New Years, the city becomes alive with colors and inspiration everywhere you go.
Thanksgiving at my house starts with a great view of the parade from our balcony. This year Aya will be... Continue Reading

By now I’m sure you’ve heard me mention Wardrobe Warrior™ various times, but what exactly does Wardrobe Warrior™ mean?
Wardrobe Warrior™ is both a personal style method, and a lifestyle. It’s a way of building your wardrobe so that you can pull together a stylish look in a pinch. It’s a way of packing for a trip so that one piece of carry-on luggage can last you your entire trip. It’s a way of streamlining your look in a way that allows your personal taste to shine through every one of your outfits, without you spending hours to pull it together... Continue Reading

No matter what, we can always count on leggings, right? They’re easy to throw on, and are always one of the most comfortable options in our wardrobes. However, it can be tricky styling them for any occasion that isn’t casual. They can sometimes make us appear under-dressed, and that’s due to both the quality of the leggings, and how we style them.
This is what inspired me when designing my Women with Control® Basic Pull-On Legging (available in three lengths, item # A27605). I knew that my Women with Control® fabric would be perfect for this classic item; its 54% cot... Continue Reading

The white button front shirt is a classic item. However, it is usually modeled after the menswear version and often could use a bit more Attitude. When I decided to take on the design challenge of revamping the white shirt, I wanted to make sure that it was something that honored the history of it while making it work perfectly with my Women with Control® and Attitudes by Renée® collections. Staying true to the Wardrobe Warrior™ method, the New White Shirt had to fit seamlessly into your wardrobe; it had to be easy for you to build an outfit with it.
In order to make su... Continue Reading
