Nail polish has moved way beyond your standard red and pink. In the last few years, women of all ages have started to sport blue, purple, orange, even gray nails.  It only makes sense that the newest trends involve taking it to the next level by combining these colors. Two-toned nails are more popular than ever and fortunately, it's easy and affordable to get the look. Here's an example of a simple two-tone nail that I created, but check out the video below for more creative and fun ideas and let me know what you think!     Every Saturday on my Facebook page {Sandra Benn... Easy Summer Beauty: Exfoliate Fast!

Started by Sandra Bennett in Beauty Banter, The Q We Love, Hosts & Personalities 1406123480.927

Every year, I attend the CEW Best of Beauty Awards. Winning is one of the biggest honors in the industry, and this year, a relatively new company, Glam Glow, won two awards! I knew Glam Glow had been on QVC, but I wasn't familiar with the product line. I decided I absolutely had to see what I was missing! The first product I tried was their YouthMud Tinglexfoliate Treatment. It is called a 10-minute "facial in a jar" and is a favorite in the world of entertainment, fashion and music. Still, I have tried a lot of masks, and have often been less than "wowed" by the results, so I was&n... Continue Reading

Susan Graver's Foxy Makeover

Last Reply by Jimdog 1405693828.877 | Started by Sandra Bennett in Jewelry Talk, Hosts & Personalities, Susan Graver

Last year, I went to Beijing twice to conduct training sessions for our sister network, CNR Mall. When I'm in China for QVC, I work really long hours, but my weekends are free, so I pack those days with sightseeing and shopping.  My favorite market is the Panjiayuan Market (also called the Dirt Market.) You can find everything there, from household products, to beads, handbags, and antiques. Bargaining for a good price is part of the fun, and I really enjoy trying to use my limited Mandarin skills to negotiate.     Last August, I was looking at som... A "Little" LOGO Fun

Last Reply by Dana O 1405686556.14 | Started by Sandra Bennett in The Q We Love, Hosts & Personalities, Lori Goldstein

I love LOGO and own many pieces, so I was very excited to hear that Lori Goldstein was creating LOGO Littles. The line is cuter than I could have ever imagined! My girls are so excited to wear Lori's designs. Not only is LOGO Littles fun and stylish, it totally works for children's active lives. All of the pieces are practical and so comfortable for wearing to school, on the playground, and on family outings.  Here is a quote from Lori about the inspiration of LOGO Littles line: "I feel the excitement that the main LOGO collection and brand extensions have brought to our customer, and ... My Hairdo Makeover By Chaz Dean

Last Reply by sjk73 1405357516.09 | Started by Sandra Bennett in Beauty Banter, Hosts & Personalities, WEN

Back in January, My husband and I were out to dinner and I got a text from Chaz Dean, the creator of Wen. It was a picture of me that Chaz had found on Facebook. My hair was pushed behind my shoulder, making it appear much shorter than the actual length. Chaz wrote, "I think we should do this." "Long bob?" I texted back. And so the saga began.  I really wish I could tell you that I cut my hair on an impulse or that I gave it no thought, but I spent six months thinking, "should I or shouldn't I?" Chaz and I continued to text each other pictures and have conversations about it. If you are ... Continue Reading

Are Your Nails Spring Ready?

Started by Sandra Bennett in Beauty Banter, Hosts & Personalities, Among Friends 1400700777.82

Cold, dry weather and dark days can be harsh on our skin and nails, so now is the perfect time to start off the season with clean, moisturized, and well groomed hands to show off those Spring trending colors! I asked the ladies from Team Julep for a little help with this process and they gave me six easy steps to prep your nails for Spring/Summer!  Step 1: Soften Use the Julep Glycolic Hand Scrub to whisk away dry, dull skin cells and make way for softer, smoother, young-looking hands. Start by dampening your hands and gently rub a quarter-sized amount of scrub on the backs and pal... Continue Reading

See Why Tova is Giving Up Fake Eyelashes!

Started by Sandra Bennett in Beauty Banter, The Q We Love, Hosts & Personalities 1400097354.097

I caught up with Tova before PM Style on Monday and asked her for a Spring Beauty Tip. I’m so glad I did because she had some really big news to share! Here is what she said: “I have worn false eyelashes every time I have been on QVC {for 20 years}.  Today when we went on air and last week when I was here I didn’t wear my lashes because of this iconic mascara. It lifts, it separates, and it’s not too thick. It’s all in the brush-- It’s almost like a wave where you lift from the inside and then build up. One coat is perfect for your day look and anythin... Seeing the World, One Trip at a Time!

Last Reply by baker 1403480839.41 | Started by Sandra Bennett in The Q We Love, Hosts & Personalities, Among Friends

If you ask me what I am most passionate about (besides my family), I will always say “travel.” When I was a little girl, I was fascinated with the idea of visiting foreign lands. I would pour over National Geographic magazines and watch 60 Minutes with my dad, hoping to catch a glimpse of what the rest of the world looked like.  During my 20’s, time and money were constricted as I was busy putting myself through college and vacations were far from feasible. However, as soon as I got my first real job in television news, I started figuring out a ways to see the world. ... Continue Reading

A Quick and Easy Way For a "Straight From The Salon" Look

Started by Sandra Bennett in Beauty Banter, The Q We Love, Hosts & Personalities 1399486120.363

We have so many amazing beauty experts on QVC, that I'm taking advantage of their experience and asking them to share a spring beauty tip. Maria McCool from Calista Tools owns a prestigious salon in the Philadelphia area and had a lot of clients complaining that they could not do their own hair. So, she invented the Ion Hot Rollers. Maria recently put them in my hair before a show and I loved the look. That made me think about all of the proms, weddings, graduation parties and a million other events just around the corner. I asked her why these work so well. Maria: For really great,... Continue Reading
