Hi Everyone! This is Jenn, Courtney's friend & social helper here. I'm "taking over" Courtney's blog because I want to wish her a very happy birthday today! Some of her other friends around the Q wanted to share their birthday wishes too!
Dear Courtney, I hope that this birthday brings you all that your heart desires… a wonderful home and the husband of your dreams…. Oh wait….you already have that! Ok…then…to be surrounded by friends, family and pets who love you….Ohh… hmm… ok y... Continue Reading

Perfect foundation application seems like an impossible feat at times. You know I'm slightly obsessed with trying the "next big thing" in beauty, well here it is.... Color Me foundation applicator.
Don't worry, it looks intimidating, but there are super easy-to-follow directions included on the pamphlet inside the box.
Underneath the shiny metal cap is a soft, smooth foundation applicator pad.
Apply your choice of foundation to the applicator pad. I used a dollop of Tarte foundation from the Miracles collection.
The applicator works with vibrat... Continue Reading

If you've been hanging out around my Facebook page lately you can see I have been drinking a lot of fresh pressed juice. There have been a lot of questions about recipes and why I decided to do it, so I thought I would answer all of it in a blog.
I decided to add juice to my overall diet for a couple of reasons. With getting married, honeymooning, and the holiday's all rolled into 3 crazy months, I felt like I wasn't making good decisions with the foods that I ate. It was a lot of indulgence that led me to feel a l... Continue Reading

When I walk through the door I want my house to remind me of a Christmas Wonderland. This year, I wanted to decorate our home with a warm and happy vibe that welcomed any guest in. With this being our first Christmas as a married couple, I wanted it to feel more special than ever. That included decorating the dog. :-)

Brownie cookies??? Yum! I found this recipe on Pinterest and thought it would be perfect to try out because 1 - it's chocolatey and 2- I love baking for the holidays. Make sure to cool your cookies all the way before transferring to a plate or individual baggies. Since this recipe is very brownie-like, you want the cookies to "set" a bit before removing them from the parchment paper (or aluminum foil.)
Makes 24 cookies
1 box of brownie mix
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), room temperature
4 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
2 cups chocolate chips (any kind!)
&nbs... Continue Reading

Four years ago, Aaron and I celebrated our first Thanksgiving together. It was just the two of us and neither of us had ever cooked Thanksgiving Dinner. Every dish was new, exciting, and completely different from what we were used to having with our families back home. That Thanksgiving we decided that every year after we would set the table with the tried and true turkey and racks of ribs, but change up the deserts and sides for an ultimate gourmet experience.

I'll start this blog with a few stories of our dear LR:
The first time I remember seeing LR I felt really intimidated. She's extremely pretty in person and probably one of the smartest women I've ever met. So with that in mind... I thought best not to speak. You might have heard me talk about the first the time I chatted with Lisa. It wasn't my best moment... But she took my comments and laughed them off lightheartedly. Ah ha! We were off to a good start and somehow she didn't dislike me.
My first time in NYC was for fashion week and it was a dream come true. I was sche... Continue Reading

For our Honeymoon we wanted to go somewhere that we may not get the chance to go back to for a good while. We decided to spend our honeymoon in French Polynesia both on the Paul Gauguin Ship and in Tahiti. There are 115 islands in French Polynesia; some that are very small and desolate, and others that have bigger populations- but still small town, family-life oriented. Throughout most of F.P. there is no real estate. Everyone who lives on the land of the islands owns their land because it’s the land their family has grown up on. Some families have whole Mot... Hi everyone! Long time, no blog :) How are you? I wanted the opportunity to share with you some of my wedding photos since my “Say Yes to The Dress” will be airing on October 17th at 9PM EST.
A lot of you saw some of the pictures that my friend Jennifer and I posted throughout the week, but I wanted to give you a closer look at all the action.
Since so many of our friends and family were coming in from out of town, we wanted to make sure it was worth the travel to our small mountain town. We kicked off our wedding weekend on Thursday night with a cocktail party ... Continue Reading
