New York's Fashion Week is an important event in the fashion world because it defines the year's upcoming fashion trends! During 2014's Fashion Week we saw lots of high contrasting, black and white sporting wear. Monochrome pattern play, geometric designs, graphic prints, stripes, clean lines and color blocking have been given a fresh and modern make-over. Mix layers with different textures, prints with solids and add that "WOW" factor with a pop of color from a belt or clutch! There are so many style combinations… So be bold and have fun! This trend will be around for while!

It's hard to believe it's been one year since my son, David, and the love of his life, Christine, got married. We celebrated their anniversary with lunch at one of their favorite restaurants. They are so adorable together and I couldn't be happier for both of them :)!
Wow, this year really flew by! After their wedding, they took a fantastic honeymoon in Italy... They enjoyed taking in the beauty, sights, and wonderful people the country has to offer. Not long after, they both found new jobs, relocated, and are building their lives together.
Christine froze the top of their wedding ... Continue Reading

It was an ordinary day at my design studio when an unknown retailer, QVC, walked into my showroom. The buyer tested a few items that sold well and invited me to make a guest appearance for the up-coming collection. I was naive about what was to come... I thought I would be appear for a few minutes to introduce myself. To my surprise I was on air for a full hour! Totally unprepared, I dove right in to share my vision and my creations. Although I had never been on camera before, it felt natural to speak about the designs I had been working on for so many years. The rest is history&hell... Continue Reading

Over the weekend we held a sleep over/slumber party for my husband Richie's 60th birthday! We had such a fun time with some of our closest friends. It felt like we were 16 years old again! Before our guests arrived I made sure the bedrooms and bathrooms were squeaky clean. I bought lots of cheese, nuts, and fruit so there was plenty to nibble on. I was so excited for their arrival!
Saturday night we all went out to dinner. We had a table for 6 at one of Richie's favorite restaurants. There was lots of wine, food, and laughs topped off with a birthday cake for dessert! &... Continue Reading

While traveling in Europe I noticed most of the styles were heavily embellished. Bright colors were everywhere encrusted in multi-colored gemstones.
Even shoes are embellished!
That was my "ah-ha" moment... Let's design a collection of embellished Liquid Knit to up-date the collection and make it new and fresh for spring. We immediately designed and sampled some great looks. My buyer Debbie loved the pieces that were created and decided to develop it as a special item coming up this Thursday!
The styles she chose are classic, contemporary and easy to wear. Together they make a ... Continue Reading

Feeling good about ourselves on the inside will shine through in whatever style or outfit we wear!
Exercise helps me to feel good about myself. One of my favorite ways to keep my body and mind healthy is through Pilates! Pilates challenges me to be my very best. It helps to enliven my spirit, gain confidence, and feel sexy!
Since moving to PA I've been so fortunate to have found a wonderful woman named Donna who owns and operates a Pilates studio close to my home. She is a fabulous instructor, very knowledgable and patient. She's taught me that Pilates is a never ending journey, it's... Continue Reading

When I was a little girl I dreamed that my Prince Charming would come and sweep me off my feet... He'd be handsome with bright blue eyes that warm my heart. March 11th marks the 36th anniversary of the day my Prince Charming swept me off my feet.
Better known as Richie, he is not only the love of my life, but my best friend too. Richie unconditionally supports me in whatever I do. He is a devoted, loving father who supports and encourages our children's imagination and shares in the enthusiasm of their dreams.
We continue to laugh together and enjoy each oth... Continue Reading

This past weekend Richie, Pebbles and I took a drive to see my daughter Jaclyn and her boyfriend Kevin in NYC! Windows down, and music up, the first taste of spring was in the air as we cruised the two hours up the Jersey Turnpike. It was a wonderful start to a great weekend! We stayed at a beautiful dog friendly hotel downtown just a few blocks from Jaclyn's apartment.
This city is so alive! Constantly moving and changing, sometimes it's fast pace makes it hard to stop and take in the beauty of it all. Jaclyn and I love strolling and window shopping. We like to see what other designe... Continue Reading

You never know where or when you will meet the love of your life. Forty years ago while shooting pool in the game room at college, I met the soon to be love of my life, Richard Graver. We laughed out loud together at parties, shared the same thoughts and values and enjoyed each other's company. Our love soon blossomed and we were engaged a year after college and married a year later.
On March 11th we will celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. How did the years fly by so quickly? Richard is my best friend, the love of my life, my confident, and the one I turn to for suppo... Continue Reading
