A few weeks ago, I planned a trip to California to visit my daughter Jaclyn and her boyfriend Kevin. The day before my trip, Jaclyn face-timed Rich and I with the exciting news that Kevin had proposed to her with a beautiful engagement ring! Kevin secretly set up a video of the proposal... How cute is this? Well, to say the least, our trip to California turned into 4 endless days of joy and celebration! ‚Äč All my love and congratulations to Jaclyn and Kevin... As the Susan Graver brand expands, it was important to bring additional talent and expertise to my brand. QVC is a global, worldwide network and often requested my presence in countries outside the U.S.  {Working with my QVC UK buyer, Alison Wood} {On air at QVC UK with one of my favorite hosts, Charlie} For the past 20 years I've been squeezing trips to QVC UK between shows in the US, often making the round trip in 3 days. I never want to miss a show or an opportunity to connect with woman here in the US. {On my way to QVC UK!}  {Arrived in London} Stacey Rusch to the ... Continue Reading

Tour of Philadelphia Art Museums!

Last Reply by Laniey 1420430369.537 | Started by Susan Graver in Fashion Talk, Susan Graver

I've just spent two days touring art museums with my friends Sandi and Larry, stirring up my creative juices. My first stop was the Wayne Art Center in Wayne, Pa.  The exhibit was a diverse, inspirational collection of art. From mixed media, furnishings, jewelry, and repurposed textiles, the art was overwhelming.  Wall mural made from refurbished shirts Beautiful hand made furniture and tableware. Next stop was the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Although it comprised of five buildings, we only made it to the first. Me and Larry.   From Chigal, Miro, Andrew Wy... Continue Reading

How To Set The Perfect Holiday Table

Last Reply by Rosie the cat 1417982907.23 | Started by Susan Graver in Susan Graver

In preparation of Thanksgiving dinner, I wanted to share a few of my simple guidelines to setting a festive table. I believe setting the table for the holidays contributes to the ambiance of the meal.  Glasses The water/soda glasses are to the right of the plate, above the knife. The wineglass is placed to the right of the water/soda glass.   Napkins My favorite display of the napkin is folded in quarters and placed fanned out in the wine glasses. It adds an elegant and festive tone.   Dinnerware I prefer to set the table in advance with the dinner plate, salad plate, ... Continue Reading

My Thanksgiving Music Playlist

It's Thanksgiving morning…  The house is decorated, family and friends are waking up or are on their way and the food is ready to prep and cook, but do you have your music playlist ready?! I love having music playing in the house, and usually do, however on Thanksgiving morning it’s so important to have music to set the mood. I’ve put together this playlist of some of my favorite songs to have you dancing, smiling and laughing while cooking Thanksgiving dinner and to play on through the dinner and beyond.   "Mashed Potato Time” -  Dee Dee Sharp -&nbs... I’m loving my new line of big shirts I’m calling Shirt Tales! The women's big shirt has come a long way from it’s humble beginnings and I wanted my Shirt Tales to embody this style's great history! A260107 Susan Graver Long Sleeve Woven Henley Front Tunic There was a time in the early 20th century when women wouldn’t dare be seen in public wearing anything but a beautiful dress. However, Coco Chanel and the rise of the film industry changed everything and broadened the women’s fashion scene! Then as the century progressed and America fell on hard times we saw ... This week Rich and I had the opportunity to sneak away for a few days to sunny California. Although it was only three days, it was totally glorious and well worth the trip! If you haven't heard, my daughter Jaclyn recently moved to California. We immediately booked our flights to checkout her new neighborhood and spend valuable time together. Of course the moment I arrived, I was anxious to check out the new fashion designs at Fred Siegel. Jaclyn and I both adore that store! Next, we checked out all the boutiques and yummy places to eat.   The beaches were spectacular and we walk... Continue Reading

A Walk in the Park

Last Reply by alsija 1422657753.547 | Started by Susan Graver in Fashion Talk, Susan Graver, TSV Talk

From my shows on QVC, designing, meetings, errands and everything in between; it’s hard for me to find alone time to gather my thoughts and be at peace. That’s why we must cherish those moments when we do have that time.  This past week both Richie and I were in the house talking and realized we both had nothing to do! So we decided to take Pebbles for a walk in a local nature preserve close to home. It was so refreshing to be outdoors in the peace and quiet. Alone, with no distractions, Richie and I got to lazily stroll down a winding path through the woods while Pebbles enj... Continue Reading

Vote Now to Guess About Susan Graver's Early Fashion Career!

After graduating college I knew I wanted to enter the fashion industry. With hard work and many interviews I landed my first job in the industry. I joined a fast growing manufacturer where I learned merchandising, design, and marketing. It was a fantastic company and after close to 10 years of "on the job" training, I ventured into my own business where I designed, manufactured, and marketed my own product under my name. "Susan Graver" became a great success in every major department store and catalog. Then one day QVC walked into my showroom... Well, the rest is history! Vote bel... Continue Reading

Style of Summer

Last Reply by lakes 1420250023.737 | Started by Susan Graver in Fashion Talk, Susan Graver, TSV Talk

Summer is in full swing and it's my favorite time of the year! I adore taking long walks in the park and collecting shells on the beach. Since I don't care to wear a bathing suit or shorts, I'm enjoying the ease and comfort of my newest obsession... My one piece romper dress!  It's casual enough to wear to the beach or take walks in the park, yet dressy enough to wear out to dinner. Yesterday I went to a beautiful park with Pebbles and walked for hours in the hot summer sun. I was cool, comfortable, and felt confident bending over and sitting on the ground to play with Pebbles! Dinner w... Continue Reading
