So this year we've had a lot of cookie exchanges going on at QVC. One was help at Shawn Killinger's house where we eat delicious cookies, told stories, laughed, and got to spend some one on one time with each other outside of the office. We all need some girl time every once and a while!!
Besides our cookie swap at Shawn's house, we are also doing a fun little recipe exchange on Facebook. One host shares a cookie recipe and then nominates another host to share theirs and so on and so forth until we have an entire collection filled with delicious holiday cookies!!
How fun is the... Continue Reading

Hi friends! So I got my hands on our most recent Kitchen Aid TSV and decided to take a risk in the world of baking, AKA: I made my first ever cake from scratch! Note: this is not something I normally do. I’m more of an “always have Junior’s Cheesecake on deck” kind of girl.
I posted a picture of my ventures in Baking Land and so many of you wanted to see the recipe for my Mom’s Fresh Apple Harvest Cake. This recipe makes 12 servings! It is a big, beautiful, moist cake that needs no icing!
Here’s the recipe:
3 medium-size tart app... Continue Reading

When we received an invitation to Courtney and Aaron’s wedding we couldn’t contain our excitement. Here was a chance to celebrate the union of two wonderful people in one of my favorite places, Georgia, and without the kids! That’s right, we decided to leave the kids with their grandparents and spend some much needed quality time alone. This mini-vacation was just what the doctor ordered and I couldn’t wait to get away.
Since this was going to be a quick trip I decided to make the most of it and splurge on a nice hotel. Several years ago we stay... Continue Reading

It’s that time of the year where the women of the world are glued to E! News and consistently post Carrie Bradshaw, Sex In The City, quotes--- New York Fashion Week! This year our QVC friend and high end fashion designer, Dennis Basso, invited the QVC hosts to his 2015 Spring/Summer Collection Runway Show.
This wasn’t my first time attending a runway show or NYFW for that matter, but I was still blown away by the amazing designs and of course the celeb sightings at the show and around the Lincoln Center in New York.
I’ve been there, back, and amazed to say the least, so I w... Continue Reading

I’m baaaaaaaaack! These past three months on maternity leave just flew by but I must admit I was excited to return to work. Coming back felt like the first day of school. You’re excited to see all your friends and to get back to your routine.
Everyone has been asking how my family is doing and adjusting and the short answer is not too bad! We definitely have our hands full with our daughter Jericho (who is now 19 months) and our infant son Jace. Jericho is fantastic with her brother. She kisses him all the time and tries to pick him up w... Continue Reading

It has been an exciting couple of months at our house with the new addition to our family, Jace. He is such a great baby in all aspects... terribly cute and also a great sleeper! Jericho is adjusting well into her role as big sister. She loves being around him and is always trying to help Mommy and Daddy out. Unfortunately she just isn't big enough to really step in during the moments when we could really use an extra set of hands!!
I wanted to share some of the professional photos from our shoot after Jace was born. Warning: They are dangerously cute and you may find yourself tearing up.... ... Continue Reading

I always post a picture of my outfit to my Facebook page before shopping with you on Friday Q Check. At first dressing the baby bump was a concern. Can you still be considered a fashionista when rocking the baby bump? The answer is YES!
Style is all about owning your look. Whether you're a Mommy-to be or even just trying out something new, confidence is key in pulling it off!
Here are some of the looks that I've pulled together as my bump continues to grow and I get closer and closer to meeting Baby Kerr!
Dresses seem to be my go-to these days and there is nothing like... Continue Reading

If you watch A.M. Style then you know that host Leah Williams loves to do arts and crafts. Every season Leah likes to challenge us AMS gals with a project and this Easter we are decorating baskets.
I will admit I’m not the most crafty and creative but I try my best. I usually turn to the internet for inspiration and I did see some great ideas but for this challenge I’m turning to Jericho for some help!
Here are the props and goodies we have so far...

Ever since our daughter Jericho started walking she has been on the go and into everything. In an effort to get Jericho out of the house and to burn off all that energy I enrolled her in a weekly gym program. The class has about 8 students from ages 12-19 months and all of them are at different stages of development. Most of the toddlers can walk and a few can even talk. Some of the children are shy and timid, while others are outgoing and fearless. I was hoping my Coco was more of a fun and fearless type of gal but on the first day of class Jericho just stood bac... It seems like just yesterday when we brought our little Jericho home for the first time. She was so tiny and sweet. Well believe it or not that little baby is one year old and no longer so tiny and helpless. She has grown so quickly over the past year and is now walking and singing and climbing the stairs.
For Jericho’s first birthday I wanted a Farmer in the Dell themed party in our backyard with a petting zoo, horse rides and a moon bounce but thankfully my husband talked some sense into me! So in the end we decided to keep things low key with cupcakes ... Continue Reading
