In between my last appearance at QVC in early February and my upcoming shows this weekend, I took a quick trip to Bangkok to visit my factories there and to work with them on future products. While the cold wave hit the U.S., I was sweltering in humid 95 degree weather, where my clothes stuck to my body, and my hair went all frizzy, so no pictures of me.
I work with factories throughout the world, some in the U.S., others in Italy, India, and Thailand. Each factory has a unique expertise and skill, so as I create the concept for a new design, my production team determines which fa... Continue Reading

There is no greater joy than becoming a parent. And I’m blessed to have experienced this three times with my beautiful sons.
Close in age, they grew up together, going to the same high school and even sharing the same friends. Yet as similar as their circumstances were, their personalities could not be more individual or distinct. Here’s what I mean.
Peter was my first. Focused, driven and independent, he took his role as “older brother” quite seriously. It was clear from the start that Peter was the type of person to set a goal and follow through. His real esta... Continue Reading

Happy New Year! I hope all of you had a happy, healthy and fun holiday and a great New Year.
After my last December shows, I took a long awaited restful vacation, spent mostly with family and friends, catching up on my reading, relaxing, taking long walks with Ron in Florida and, as usual, making, with the best of intentions, my new year resolutions. Chief among them were to focus on eating well (including no more French fries). But so far, so good, except for the French fries.
I would certainly love to hear about your resolutions ... Continue Reading

After my last QVC show, I was “Back in the USSR” as the Beatles sang, or more properly today, the Russia Federation. Ron and I traveled to Moscow for the Press Party and Gala for the opening of my new and larger shop, since after three years of selling my jewelry in Moscow and growing the brand we needed more space.
So before I turn to my upcoming December shows and new goodies for you, let me share some of my Moscow moments.
First some facts – Moscow was founded in the early 13th century and considers itself the third Rome behind the Eternal City and Constantinople. L... Continue Reading

Well, it’s QVC time again for me! October ended as briskly as it started. I traveled extensively in October and November, visiting stores which carry my jewelry, doing shows, and preparing for the Holiday selling season.
I started in Canton, Ohio, where a long time account threw a wonderful party with over 200 delightful guests, to showcase the new collections. The exciting evening ended with a raffle drawing for one of my necklaces.

I am very excited that I am returning to QVC with shows on Wednesday and Thursday October 9th and 10th. I am excited not only to be at QVC but also to be introducing a Today’s Special Value and several new collections which form a part of my holiday presentations.
It is the time of year again when my thoughts turn to my own holiday gift giving. I have a large family with children, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sisters, nieces and nephews and an extended family of friends and co-workers for whom I traditionally buy holiday gifts. I start looking and purchasin... Continue Reading

I am a fan of the seasons. I love all four seasons, each bringing change and something new and completely different. Every three months my senses are freshly intrigued and invigorated.
As a designer, change, growth and differentiation is essential and the arrival of each season, always new and different, inspires and excites me.
The gorgeous colors and cool brisk breezes of Fall refresh my soul, and the leaves in their kaleidoscope of hues, shades and tones, vibrant, earthy and ephemeral, captivate me. The lingering and wind swept leaves are to be beheld and cherished until the... Continue Reading

Last week, I received a wonderful note from a customer, who wrote the following:
I love your jewelry. I have been collecting for many years and always tune in to your QVC shows. Recently, I have been reading your blogs and trying to learn more about you and the inspiration behind your designs. It amazes me how creative you are. But, I want to know what people do not know…the behind the scenes, so to speak. Beyond design and jewelry, the little known facts that make you who are. I feel like I know y... Continue Reading

I hope all of you are enjoying your summer. Is it really August already? Is it just me or does time go by even faster as we get older? I feel like I just switched my closets from winter to summer and can hardly believe it’s time to prep my closets for the switch back to fall / winter clothes.
But, before we talk fall fashion and jewelry, I need to ask if there are any Shark Tank fans out there? It is one of my favorite TV shows, and the two women judges are, of course, my favorite. One is Lori Greiner from QVC (go QVC!) and the o... Continue Reading
