One of my favorite hobbies is gardening… My favorite part of gardening is planting all of the gorgeous flowers and fun plants... I have to literally stop myself from over planting. The only thing that is slowing me down is all the aches and pains from carrying the dirt! I obviously have a helper so I have to situate my pots and cubes so that Misty can manage to navigate the back yard..Lol…
I spend hours building my pots, garden boxes and under planting my lime and rose trees... I always try to remember that I need to have a focal point, filler and trailing pl... Continue Reading

Well the month of June is finally here and I am hoping that we can share ideas to help make graduation memories… I found some ideas that I was going to use for Nicole’s graduation and I am hoping you can give me some additional ideas!
My mom and I decorated multi-colored mason jars for table decorations.. I placed tags on them spelling out 2014...we also added decorative pebbles to anchor the graduation caps on the sticks...I love the adorable candy grad caps! The day before we will take the lollipop sticks and take mini Reese peanut butter cups and pieces of choc... Continue Reading

Spring is prom season and yet another senior year memory for Nicole...Prom has changed over the years from gown shopping in January to prom-posals..
The prom-posal happened on a fund raiser night in front of an auditorium of peers and families.. Nicole’s friend Adam cleverly proclaimed his love of math and spelled PROM on his calculator. Nicole accepted as the auditorium roared!
Well the day finally arrived with torrential rain threatening to dampen the moment...instead it added to the best night of my life for Nicole..
If you look closely you will see me r... Continue Reading

Let me quote something I said back in 2012, "I'm very honored to have been a part of QVC for all of these years. If I take you back to the beginning, I'll say home shopping was very new to our customers, but so was the internet, etc.”
It’s amazing how Facebook has evolved in my life and how it has become an important part of how I connect with my family, fr... Continue Reading

As the world waited for spring I have to admit that I was dragging my feet into the realization that Nicole's senior year would soon be over...37 days till graduation...
It was a beautiful spring night and I thought I would take advantage of Nicole being home with me and asked her to accompany me on my nightly walk. I use my walks to think, clear my head and just enjoy life. So as we set off on this beautiful night, I kept thinking of things that maybe I need to tell her before she goes off to college...
I really wanted to make this a teaching moment as we p... Continue Reading
