I am so glad I was able to catch up with Bradley Bayou, another good friend I miss. We had the best evening! Red Carpet and catching up with friends; that's a good week.

It is almost time for summer sandals. Yay!!! Sandals can be a great way to add a pop of color or make your legs look longer. Here are some tips on how to do both in this two-video set. The videos also give you a sneak peek at this week's G.I.L.I.(TM) shoes that are going to be available at the beginning of the show.
We also wanted to add a video on the new Tatcha Serum, debuting this week as well, so enjoy! It's a "3 for 1" video blog. :)
See you Friday at 10pm ET for The Lisa Robertson Show!--Lisa

Everyone is gearing up for the biggest Red Carpet event of the year. We are in L.A. for our broadcast on Friday night. There is also a segment on bethenny this Thursday that talks about Red Carpet Glamour. One of the most important places in L.A. right now is the Kate Somerville Mediskin Clinic. Everyone is "getting their glow on," and you can too. Kate is offering a Red Carpet skin care duo of ExfoliKate and DermalQuench that are at-home versions of two of her most popular treatments. We shot a quick segment that's going to air on the bethenny website and thought we'd share.

One of the most important considerations in looking your best is choosing the right color of foundation. It is something we should reconsider periodically, as times change, options change, and our skin changes too! It can be a little daunting so we wanted to give you some ideas on where to start.
We also have a huge announcement...bareMinerals will be part of The Lisa Robertson Show this Friday night. So, watch the video now, tune in Friday, and we'll have experts from bareMinerals on hand to help with our chat and answer your questions during the show. It's going to be very exciting!

This Friday is the premiere of The Lisa Robertson Show and it's so big we're starting at 9pm ET because we need two hours! During this season, we are going to be doing a video blog each week that you'll be able to find right here.
This week we're talking about leather jackets. Leather is a requirement year round for a great wardrobe, and we have the most beautiful cropped leather jacket coming up in the show. (If you're someone who insists on the highest quality leather, you will love it!) Anyway, a leather jacket can be one of the most flattering things you own, if you wear it right. :)

On my Facebook page, Debbie Cook asked me which is more important: what you eat or portion control. I know we've had some fun answering which is our biggest struggle, but in reality, they are both important and I think they each impact the other.
I hear people say that you can eat anything you want as long as you eat a small enough amount. Those people have obviously never taken their life in their hands by risking being between me and a great tub of ice cream. What I start, I will finish. There are starving children in the world, (I can hear my mother saying), and wasting food bothers me. Wa... Continue Reading

In the last few weeks, I had the chance to do a few more segments on bethenny. It was a lot of fun. The people on the crew are great, and there is always a buzz of excitement in the halls. Here's the first segment we did on the clothing D.I.E.T.
And here's a segment on "Radiant Orchid," Pantone's color of the year, just in case you missed it. What do you think? :)
See you soon!--Lisa

As we look forward to 2014, I thought it may be fun to look back at some of the "Torture of the Week" posts on my Facebook page. Here are a few highlights throughout 2013. I wonder what my trainer and I will come up with this year! As always, keep me updated as you give these and try :) we are in this together!!!
This Torture of the Week is one that you do not need a gym for. Set up 4 markers, you can even use soup cans if you like. Do 5 push ups at one end. Walk your hands and feet over each marker, (still in the plank position), when you get to the other side, do 5 push ups and come... Continue Reading
