I know this season has been a little confusing with The Lisa Robertson Show. We were off the last two weeks, but this Friday we are back! I am so excited about the fashion this week. Leather in any form continues to be one of the strongest trends for the season and this week's G.I.L.I.(TM) fashion is right on trend. We have an amazing skirt that is one of the most flattering things I've ever worn. The perfect update to a leather jacket with the combination of textures that gives you that directly-off-the-runway look. A sheath dress with the perfect touch of the look of leather, the perfec... Would you rather wear one statement piece or a lot of small pieces of jewelry? That is the question that the fashion world is answering right now with big bold statement pieces. A statement piece is something that stands out on its own. It defines everything else that you're wearing and is a very noticeable part of your look. One easy way to know a statement piece is by its size. If it is a bold enough scale, then it definitely becomes a statement piece. It can be unusual, it can be large, or it can be a little of both, whatever you think defines you better. We have some amazing designers on Q... Continue Reading

This Friday is one of my favorite days of the entire year, right up there next to Christmas! It is our 24-hour Klondike Gold Rush(R) Sale, where everything on the entire day is gold jewelry and it's all on sale!
For more than 15 years I have had the honor of visiting the Vicenza Gold Fair with our buyers. Vicenza Italy is the heart of the gold industry. It has been interesting to see how the jewelry industry has grown and evolved. Since 2008, a lot of retailers have gone out of the gold business, but not QVC. We remain one of the largest retailers of 14K and 18K gold jewelry in the United Sta... Continue Reading

You can, just by adding angles to your wardrobe. It is surprising what a difference you can make. Your line of sight is kind of like water. Water will run off anything curved or diagonal, but it will pool on any flat line. By wearing angles in the cut or pattern of your clothes, you can make your eye "run off of it" which makes you look slimmer. Where your eyes settles is the area you notice. Where your eye keeps moving is where things seem to go away. This can be as simple as a shark bite hem on a cardigan or an asymmetrical zipper on a Moto jacket. Whether it is stripes, lines, zippers or he... Continue Reading

I can't believe that last weekend was Super Saturday. It was an important day and a big event, and I am so glad QVC is a part of it. This event is the primary fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, and it has traditionally only been available to people who could actually be in the Hamptons. Through the live broadcast on QVC, the event has been opened up to the entire country. You have been our best partners possible in this endeavor. With your support, we have raised over $7,400,000 for OCRF in the years that we have broadcast, and this year, although we are still waiting on the final re... Continue Reading

This week is the first Lisa Robertson Show of the season! This season there are only five episodes, so we really packed them full. There is the best lineup of G.I.L.I.(TM) fashion ever! I have already been wearing some of the pieces to try them out and I can not begin to tell you how excited I am about them. We have SIX new G.I.L.I.(TM) pieces in the first show and one of them is a gorgeous bag.
There is the MOST flattering skirt, the MOST high-end perforated leather jacket, the MOST ladylike dress, the MOST fashionable bag, the MOST, the MOST, the MOST...you get the idea. Just look at The Lo... Continue Reading

This week we're leading up to our big Super Saturday event in the Hamptons. It is a chance for QVC and all of us to help raise money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF). But what you might not realize is how many people you see on QVC every day who are involved in wonderful causes. Vicky Tsai with TATCHA has a cause that is near and dear to her heart. So this week I wanted to share her letter to me with pictures of her recent trip.
Greetings from the jungles of Cambodia! It was an amazing trip.
Starting in Jan 2014, we began our partnership with an amazing organiz... Continue Reading

This is our big Christmas in July® Sale weekend, and we're finishing up with A Lisa Robertson Christmas on Sunday night at 10pm ET. I am so excited! It is true that Christmas is my favorite time of the year, and I am always looking for new ways to make my home beautiful for the holidays. Hello from Lake Tahoe! Have you ever been here? It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
The first day and a half of my vacation has been busy! But busy with wonderful things. Tuesday evening consisted of a delicious dinner, (an all too good dessert), catching up, long games of "Tickle Monster" with my nephews, a stuffed animal battle (where I ended up getting buried under a pile of them!), a bedtime story, and a later than usual bedtime with all the excitement. I know! That was just the first evening! The next morning we did a kickboxing class while the boys took Karate... Continue Reading
