Last summer, Chaz Dean showed me how to keep my natural curl in control without using any irons or heating tools. Here is a quote and full recipe for easy summer hair from Chaz!
"Give your hair rest from heat styling especially throughout the summer. Just apply the products as listed below and twist your hair with your fingers. Let it dry natural and see the results below! Be sure to apply the products in this order it's very important, that they be applied from the densest to the lightest.”

I love Nick Chavez for some many reasons. He is energetic, fun, kind, and brings us phenomenal products right from his salon in Beverly Hills. That's right, that Nick Chavez product that you use daily, is also what some of the most popular celebrities are reaching every morning!
One of the most popular items from the Nick Chavez line is his Advanced Volume Shampoo and Conditioner. It embodies everything Nick stands for -- voluminous and healthy hair! You know it, you use it, and you absolutely love when QVC offers the Super-Size Shampoo & Conditioner Duo two times a year. Well my friend... Continue Reading

Last night marks the 3rd year of QVC’s partnership with the CEW, in presenting our Beauty with Benefits event. This is one of the biggest shows of the year and certainly one that I take deep pride in being a part of. The theme of our event is “better together,” which encompasses so many of QVC’s core missions within our community and most importantly with each other.
This year, 19 of the leading brands in beauty came together to celebrate the power of friendship and make up! I hope that you were able to join us for a wonderful evening whether it was via social media or... Continue Reading

Recently, I got a text from my friend, Peter Thomas Roth. The text read, "Want to test my gold mask before our show tonight?"
Hmm.. pass up an opportunity for a skincare treatment? I don't think so! Of course, I texted back, "YES!" and Peter was waiting for me in the QVC salon when I arrived at work that day.
Peter is currently offering his Mask-erade Trio. You get the 24K Gold Mask, Rose Gel Mask, and Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. Purchased separately, the three masks would cost $158. Right now at our feature, you get them all for under $50! What a great and affordable way to try the late... Continue Reading

Most national hair care brands have various items within their line. From shampoos to hairspray, there are often endless products to choose from. In fact, some products are launched and then disappear from store shelves before we even know they existed at all (and in a lot of cases, we probably aren't missing anything!) This is not so with Wen.
Chaz Dean, the creator of the line, says he is not interested in launching a new product unless it fills a real need for his customers. He believes in keeping his line simple.
He sa... Continue Reading

Every year, just about the time I start putting away my Christmas decorations, my skin goes into a post-holiday slump. I think it's a combination of winter's dry air, not eating as much healthy food, and taking a break from exercise (not sure why in my mind the holidays mean not working out). This combination really throws off my routine and starts to take a toll on my overall appearance. (Insert post-holiday slump selfie... Haha! Just kidding, I'll save you the horror!)
So, this year, I decided that along with getting back to my healthier habits in 2015, I was also going to ramp up my skinca... Continue Reading

It’s true! I am a nail polish hoarder! But even if you don’t have a lot of nail polish around the house, you can make these ornaments.
Thankfully, it doesn’t really even take much polish for each ornament and you can use the cheapest bottles of polish you can find.
For the last two years, I have purchased inexpensive clear ornaments at the craft store. All you need to do is remove the top of the ornament and pour your nail polish into the top. You don’t need to use a lot because once you start to swirl it around, you will see the polish cover th... Continue Reading

As stressful as the holidays can be, we always make time for the traditions that mean the most to us. Some of us spend hours decorating our homes and trees, while others invest creativity into the perfect gift and the prettiest packaging to go along with it.
Baking cookies around the holidays is one of my favorite traditions that brings all of us together. (My mom, sisters, and our kids)
(This is my nephew and the newest member of our family!)
We use the same recipes each year and like to add in a new one here and there. What hasn't changed for as long as I can remember is my Mom's m... Continue Reading

Like many people in many professions, QVC hosts work a lot of holidays. This year, I'm working on Thanksgiving, which means we won't be traveling on the day to see our out-of-town family members. So, my husband and two daughters and I are celebrating with a small dinner for four. At first, I was a little bummed about not sitting down to a huge spread with our extended family, but then I decided this little party is going to be awesome. I am at my happiest when the four us are together with no distractions and my kids love making crafts, so let the festivities begin!
I told my g... Continue Reading

A few nights ago, I had to get ready for work and so my husband offered to cook dinner. I cook about 90% of the meals in our house, but when my husband cooks, it's always really good. However, I wasn't prepared for his meal to come together so quickly and for the kitchen to still look spotless. Fast and only one pot to clean.. two reasons I love the pressure cooker! The pressure cooker also makes this so much easier than a traditional risotto, which usually involves a lot of time and A LOT of stirring. This recipe took 10 mins and no stirring and it was just...
