Y’all, I can’t believe it’s been this long since I’ve written. Please forgive me! My schedule has been so crazy; I don’t know where I am half the time. I do however know where I’ll be October 19th. You guessed it, right here on QVC. I can’t wait! Y’all probably know by now I have a new children’s cookbook and it was so successful when we featured it on my last visit. This time, I’m bringing a new book. It’s called Kitchen Wisdom. Tune in and you’ll find out all about it. It’s a beautiful little book that I think y’all are just gonna love. I’m gonna air 3 times during the day of October 19th and I’m gonna be selling some wonderful products! In addition to the book and kitchen gadgets, I’m gonna be selling some of my wonderful products from Smithfield Foods. In addition to the Gooey Butter Cake, Ham Sausage and Pecan Pie, I’m featuring my Honey Cured Ham and The Lady & Sons Cooked Turkey Breast. This is the turkey breast we serve every Thanksgiving at the restaurant, and it is to die for! Everybody loves it! And we serve a LOT of people on Thanksgiving at The Lady and Sons! If you’re thinking of food, don’t forget the dishes. Check out my website to see my new holiday dishware line and see how well my beautiful dishes will go with your delectable holiday meal. So, as y’all can see, I’m trying (and offering) anything I can to make your holidays just a little easier on you. I’ll talk to y’all soon, and as always, I send y’all love and best dishes! I’ll talk to y’all soon, and as always, I send y’all love and best dishes! Paula Deen

Hey, if y’all don’t already know, I’m coming back to QVC on August 11th, and I’ve got some wonderful things for y’all to see. But before I get to that, let me tell y’all the grand opening for the Paula Deen buffet at Harrah’s Resort and Casino was held in May and boy, did we have a ball! Located in Tunica, Mississippi. This resort is just wonderful! It’s beautiful and so relaxing. Even if you don’t gamble, you can still get plenty of rest and relaxation. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! If y’all get the chance, take a trip to Tunica and enjoy! For my visit to QVC, I’m bringing the Today Special Value on August 11th and y’all are not going to be disappointed. I’m bringing a very special, very appropriate TSV to QVC. With summer winding down (even though it’s still hot) and family and friends getting together one more time before school starts back, I’m bringing something to QVC that will give your gathering…variety! But don’t let me fool you; y’all can have this TSV anytime! With fall rolling around, it’s perfect for tailgating on game day. Have y’all guessed what it is? Well, tune in on August 11th for the TSV and you’ll see. Until then, best dishes!

Hey Y’all!
Well, it’s been a little over a week since the QVC trucks packed up and moved out of my driveway (actually, my street). We had a ball with the live remote! After months of preparation and planning and e-mails, it took two days to set-up my kitchen for a two-hour show. I have to say, it was worth every minute. Even the dogs had a good time! I think Cody became an honorary crewmember! David and I had the best time together! Now, in case y’all missed it, David brought his momma to my house to watch the remote and try some of my delicious peach cobbler from Smithfield Foods. I’m so glad she loved it as much as David did. I could tell by the look on her face, just like David. I guess the apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree. Y’all loved my Chocolate Peanut Butter Gooey Butter Cake so much; I actually sold out of it! With summer rolling around fast, you might want to order one for your next get together! I hope to see y’all on QVC real soon, and until next time, I send y’all love and best dishes from my kitchen to yours!

Hey Y’all!
I can’t believe how busy I get sometimes. Just when I think I can get ahead, I fall behind. I’m sure y’all feel like that too. Let me start by saying we wrapped our 10 city Helping Hungry Homes campaign last month, and I can’t tell y’all how proud I was of everyone who volunteered to help with this campaign. Some of the places we visited were desperately in need of meat products and protein items and boy did we deliver! I can’t tell y’all how much this campaign has touched my family and me. I have said it before, giving starts at home, so I encourage each and every one of you to donate to your local food bank. The families you help will be forever grateful.
Now, be sure to tune in to QVC Sunday April 27 starting at 8pm for a live remote broadcast from my kitchen in Savannah, GA! It’s gonna be a fun filled 2 hour remote extravaganza! I hope y’all tune in and until then, I send y’all love and best dishes from my kitchen to yours!

I don’t think I’ve told y’all about my line of cast iron cookware that is available through QVC. Well, y’all need to know about it ‘cause I’m comin’ to QVC with it! March 13th, I’m gonna be on with my 11” Square Cast Iron Grill Pan and my 11” Cast Iron Skillet with a Grill Press. I just love cast iron so much because it heats evenly and it’s stove-top to oven friendly meaning y’all can cook with these pieces on top of your stove, then move to the oven without having to switch skillets. These two cast iron pieces feature an interior that I’ve already seasoned for you, so you won’t have to do it! Believe me, I’ve saved y’all some time on that one! I also put an extra handle on the end of the skillets for a little extra stability when you’re lifting. Of all the cast iron cookware I have in my kitchen, I’m always on the lookout for more. Now y’all don’t have to wait for a piece to be handed down to you. Let me help you start your own collection with some of my collection! Watch for me on March 13th and until then, I send y’all love and best skillet dishes from my kitchen to yours! Paula Deen

Hey Y’all! Saturday, March 8th I have been invited to be part of the QVC Salute To Women Entrepreneurs. QVC is doing this in celebration of International Women’s Day, and I am so honored that they would ask me to be a part of this! I know first hand how hard it is to be a woman entrepreneur. It is a constant struggle. You work your butt off for that golden opportunity, and when that opportunity presents itself, you thank God you had the good sense to take it. QVC has helped so many women make their mark, by giving them the opportunity they may not have received otherwise. Look for me during the 10 am hour “Now You’re Cooking” show and again between 2 and 5 pm and then I have y’all for a whole hour starting at 8 pm. Now, if y’all miss me here, I will be on QVC again all day on March 13th. And then, on March 16th, I am kicking off the Chicago International Housewares Association Show and QVC will be there. Now, for some great news! April 27th, QVC will be doing a live broadcast from Savannah, GA! I’m so excited I can’t wait! I’ll keep y’all posted with more details, and until next time, I send y’all love and best dishes! Paula Deen

Hey y’all! So much has happened since we last spoke! The Helping Hungry Homes Tour with Smithfield Foods has now visited 6 cities across the country. As I mentioned last time, we kicked off the tour in Savannah. My darling husband, Michael then went to Philadelphia. Jamie and Bobby delivered much needed food to New York, Atlanta, and Kansas City, and Michael and I delivered food in Los Angeles. With us every step of the way are the wonderful people at Smithfield Foods. I just don’t think I could have done something this big without their support and effort. We only have 4 cities left, and so many people have asked how they can help. Let me tell y’all, call your local food bank and get involved. Charity begins at home. I can’t wait for my next appearance on QVC! I was just so flattered when asked to help celebrate Bob’s 21 years on QVC. I’m bringing some tasty dishes to help celebrate. In addition to my favorites, the Double Honey Cured Spiral Ham, the Ham Sausage Packages, the Honey Cured Spiral Sliced Ham, and the Coconut Gooey Butter Cake (which is a favorite at The Lady & Sons) I’m bringing my Macaroni & Cheese! Now, when I was in Los Angeles, I was asked to be a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. This was my first experience with late night television and I had a ball! One of the dishes I was to make was my Fried Mac & Cheese, and these pre-made Mac & Cheese trays have taken out the entire first step of the recipe! Y’all can find the recipe at www.pauladeen.com February 17th is going to be so much fun, I hope y’all tune in, and as always, I send y’all love and best dishes from my kitchen to yours! -- Paula

Hey y’all! I’m so sorry it’s been so long since y’all have heard from me! I can’t believe it. January isn’t even over yet, and I’m so busy I can’t sit still. I hope y’all had a wonderful New Year. Mine was just lovely. Michael and I got to get out of town together for some much needed alone time. We got back to Savannah after the New Year and hit the ground running! January 14th started very early for Michael, Jamie, Bobby, and me. We arrived at America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia with a truck, loaded with my Smithfield Crunchy Glazed Honey Spiral Sliced Ham for donation. This donation kicked off the Smithfield Foods’ Helping Hungry Homes Across America tour! This tour will stop in ten major cities and donate much-needed meat and protein products to local food banks in each city-over one million servings in total! When Michael and I learned of the number of working hungry in our country, I couldn’t just sit back and not do a thing to help, ‘cause Lord knows I’ve worried about how I was gonna feed my family on more than one occasion. Luckily, my partners at Smithfield stepped up and offered whatever was needed. So off we go! Throughout this campaign, the boys, Michael and I will each visit cities across the country to make donations on behalf of Smithfield Foods and us. I encourage y’all to do the same. No matter the donation, y’all could help a working hungry home in this country. Until next time, I send y’all love, prosperity and of course best dishes throughout the year from my kitchen to yours! Hey Y’all!
As 2007 comes to an end, I just had to take this moment to say how much I appreciate all of y’all who have supported me this year. All my times on QVC this year were just wonderful. I had a ball! Y’all would think once Christmas comes and goes, I slow down, but that’s not the way it goes. We have a tradition in our family that ALL Christmas decorations (including the Christmas tree) must be taken down and packed away before New Year’s Eve. I just can’t start a new year with last year’s decorations still hanging, so the week after Christmas I take down everything Christmas and pack it away gently until next year. While I’m packing up my Christmas decorations, it gives me a chance to think back on the year. What a year it has been! My Paula Deen-Live tour was so much fun this Summer, we added two cities in November. My book tour kept me on the road for much of the Fall, but I loved every minute of it! Any chance I get to talk to, or meet with, fans is just such a joy for me.
I can’t say enough about how much fun I have on QVC. With my friends at Smithfield by my side, I always have a blast, and I get to eat! Who could ask for anything more? I hope y’all have enjoyed the wonderful products Smithfield, QVC and I have shown you this year. If y’all didn’t get my Smithfield Double Honey Cured Ham or my Smithfield Stuffed Turkey for the holidays, what are you waiting for? Easter is just around the corner, and I assure you, you will love ‘em! My Smithfield Ham Sausage is perfect for breakfast, and since I sell ‘em to y’all in a package of eight, you’ll have plenty whenever you need it.
I hope each and every one of you have a wonderful New Year! I hope 2008 brings y’all all the good health, and happiness you deserve. I hope to see more of you in 2008 and, as always, I send y’all love and best dishes from my kitchen to yours!
Happy New Year!

Hey Y’all! Well, I just got back from my last appearance on QVC for the year. What a great time we had! Saturday was Michael’s birthday, so we all got together and sang “Happy Birthday” to him in the greenroom before the show. Now, I never claimed to have the best voice in the world, and if y’all could have heard it, you would probably agree. I always have so much fun when I go to QVC, and I just have to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful people that make my time so easy and so much fun. From the producers, to the hosts I get to eat and talk with, to the salon that makes me look presentable on camera, I can’t thank y’all enough! I must thank the people that prepare all that wonderful food y’all see on QVC with me. The chefs that prepare those dishes make them look just beautiful. That food is almost too pretty to eat, but y’all know me, I’m gonna eat it anyway! So until next time, I send y’all (and everyone at QVC) love and best dishes, from my kitchen to yours! Paula Deen

Hey Y’all, Paula here again! I’ve been on the road celebrating my new cookbook, Christmas with Paula Deen, and I’ve had a ball! I went to some great cities on the East coast and I’ll wrap up my book tour on the West coast in Albuquerque, New Mexico on December 9. Did y’all get a chance to see my two darling boys December 6 on QVC? I was so proud of them; I just thought they did a wonderful job. If there’s one thing my boys know, it’s food! With Jamie & Bobby appearing this month on QVC, how could I say no when my wonderful friends at QVC and Smithfield Foods asked me to come back December 13 for the Today’s Special Value? Now, if y’all know anything about me by now, it’s that I love great food. When I cook for my family, I want to know that I’m giving them the best meal I can serve. Smithfield Foods feels the same way. That’s why my Today’s Special Value will be The Lady & Sons 8 lb. Turkey Breast. This turkey breast was the turkey breast we served at The Lady & Sons on Thanksgiving Day, and it was a smash hit! Thanksgiving is always so much fun at the restaurant. We have a real live turkey in the restaurant (actually, it’s an employee in a turkey costume) but you get the idea. We served close to 2,000 people at the restaurant that day, and we served a whole lotta turkey! Y’all, what Smithfield has done with The Lady & Sons Turkey Breast is just incredible. If y’all took this same turkey and cooked it, at home, you would be looking at an 8-9 hour process. Smithfield Foods did all the work for you. From seasoning, to cooking, to de-boning, it’s all done for you. Y’all know what that means, more time to spend with your family! As partners, Smithfield and I want families to spend as much time as possible together at the dinner table. Now even if y’all already have your holiday meal planned, this Turkey Breast will make a wonderful gift. Have QVC ship it to a family member who won’t get to come home for the Holidays. Send one to your boss. Whatever the occasion, QVC, Smithfield Foods and I have you covered this holiday season!

Hey Y’all! Paula Deen here! Let me tell y’all what I’ve been doin’ since you last saw me here on QVC. Well, I just finished my “Paula Deen-Live” Tour right before Thanksgiving. My live show featured me on stage cooking and talking and answering audience questions and basically just having a ball! We started the tour in Shreveport, LA in June and our final stop was Chicago, IL. I had so much fun doin’ these shows and if y’all didn’t get to come, there’s always next year. I barely got home before I was off to Chicago again to tape the final episode of the season for Ms. Oprah Winfrey. Check your local listings during this holiday season to see me prepare one of Oprah’s favorite holiday dishes.
My Thanksgiving was just wonderful. Y’all may find this hard to believe, but I didn’t cook! In case y’all didn’t know, the busiest day at The Lady & Sons restaurant is indeed Thanksgiving Day. Well, the entire family went to the restaurant and had Thanksgiving dinner at the restaurant. It didn’t even matter to anyone that I didn’t cook, we were all just so grateful to be together. But now, it’s time to set our sights on Christmas. I can’t believe it, but it’s just around the corner. Let the folks here at QVC help with your shoppin’ this year!
From my line of pots and pans to delicious food, QVC and Smithfield Foods have got you covered! If your family wants a taste of The Lady & Sons for the holidays, QVC will have an 8 lb Lady & Sons Roast Turkey Breast as the Today’s Special Value on December 13 beginning at midnight and running throughout the day. This is the same turkey breast we served at the restaurant Thanksgiving day, and it was a huge hit with everyone! So, mark your calendar. We also have my 6+lb Honey Cured Spiral Sliced Ham that would be just wonderful for any Holiday gathering y’all may have, and my Ham Sausage is the perfect ingredient for any breakfast feast or sausage ball you may want to prepare. The folks at Smithfield Foods and QVC have my Gooey Butter Cakes ready to go as a gift or for your own dinner table. With three variations to choose from, y’all are gonna have a hard time deciding which one to get! I hope y’all get to spend time with family and friends this holiday season, and as always, I send y’all love and best dishes from my holiday table to yours!

I can’t tell y’all how much I adore coming to QVC. The energy, the excitement, and especially the people make me feel like I’m at home (and y’all know how much I love my home!) What I love most about my time on QVC is the time I get to talk to you guys. I love for y’all to call in and give me your personal testimonials about my products. It warms my heart to know y’all enjoy using my products as much as I do. I’m just thrilled to be joining you during the holidays. This is my favorite time of the year. The decorations, the food, family and friends gathering together make this a very special time of year for me. As exciting as this year has turned out to be, next year will be just as exciting. Now, y’all know I don’t slap my name on just any ‘ole thing. Like my partnership with Smithfield Foods, I must know that the product I’m selling lives up to my standard. And believe me, when it comes to my name, my standards are pretty high. Smithfield Foods really lives up to that standard. They believe making memories starts with one meal at a time, and so do I. Their quality, and dedication to great customer service makes them a partnership I just treasure. I believe the heart of any home is the kitchen. Now a day, it’s so hard to get everyone at that dinner table at the same time. Single parents working, both parents working, dance classes, soccer practice, music lessons, there’s just not enough time in the day. But hey, everyone has to eat, and if your family can squeeze in just one meal together, that time will mean the world to you! There is nothing more satisfying than sharing a meal with the ones you love. Some of my fondest memories are of the boys, and me together in the kitchen, cookin’ up a storm! Y’all grab your family and have dinner together tonight. As always, I send y’all love and best dishes from my kitchen to yours!
