Coming Up - Monday November 10th!
Hi fellow Scrappers!

I wanted to let you in on something really fun! This Monday, November 10th at Midnight Eastern - I will be kicking off a new Today's Special Value ... It's a set of 2 Coin Bank Water Jugs. They are a new design we have not shown on QVC. It counts the money as you insert it in the lid of the jug! Now you'll know how much money you've saved! It's so much fun! I'm up to about $35 in 3 weeks of just change I've received and found in old purses, under the car seat, in the couch, etc.

But...the reason I had to post...I had the BEST time decorating them! I personalized a few for the Midnight Today's Special Value Kickoff! I took some ribbons, paint markers, sticky foam cut outs - and went to town!!!

I wanted you to know because maybe you might find some ideas for great gift giving - with your own personal touch!

Plus...it helps us save money. Which we all need to do!!!

Have a GREAT weekend! Share your crafty ideas for the Coin Water Jugs with all of us!

See you this Monday at Midnight Eastern (Sunday at 9pm for those on the West Coast)!

New From Memories Direct!
NEW!! From the Memories Direct Designer Collection Series - this elegant kit has the heaviest grade paper we manufacture. Plus this kit has over 10,000 pieces to work with- there are endless possibilities and so many options of things to do with this kit. The kit comes complete with 12x12 and 8x8 flat papers in many themes for any event of the year. The colors and designs we used in this kit are timeless and elegant. Coordinating paper journaling tags, frames, borders, accents, titles, lettering, numbers, punctuations and more are included. Truly all you need to do is add your photos- even ribbon, brads, eyelets, velum and chipboard accents are included too!

Layouts:
On the first "Peek-a-boo" layout, I outlined some punch-out letters from the kit to give the title a little extra kick. For the cute "flip-over" in the corner, all I needed was to attach a small square of the plaid paper to the back side of the green paper. The square only had to be big enough for what shows when you flip it over. Then I used one of the brads in the kit to attach it.

The wedding "Forever" layout uses flower punch outs from the kit with jewel punch outs as the center. They look like real bling, but won't bulk up your scrapbook. The "forever" title and the blue tag are included in the kit. I just backed the blue tag with regular white paper to make it stand out a little more. The envelope is also included in the kit, but I stamped over it with a poem stamp to give some texture. The three "buttons" under the title are simply more punch outs from the kit with the clear epoxy stickers included in the kit giving them a 3-D effect.

Fanciful paper layers, unique edges, elegant borders, crop with style- that's what these tearing rulers can achieve in seconds. I find it hard to use novelty edge scissors to cut more than 3". These 12"- 2 sided tearing rulers make it easy, quick and fun! And with 16 edges to work with- you will have endless possibilities and unique edge effects.

Many times when I tried doing things like this before the rulers, I would end up with a diagonal tear across the page or something very uneven. The tear rulers give a consistent linear tear across any paper up to 12" across.

Layouts: The layout with snow, and the layout with clouds, it's hard to see in the photos but there are several layers of white paper with fluffy novelty edges using the rulers. I accented the snow and clouds by adding a little chalking at the edges of the ruler tears to make the layers stand out. On the "snow" layout, I even used a little of the glitter, to give that fresh snow sparkle.

On the "love" layout, I used the tear rulers to make the border, and then when back with a hole punch to make the lacy look. Try them you'll love them! I use them most everyday. Great for card making too.

All my best,
Tina Lewis

Happy Autumn From Brenda Pinnick!
It seems that in the blink of an eye another summer has come and gone. I hope yours was a terrific one with lots of outdoor fun, some sand and surf and maybe some good old fashioned relaxing in the shade of your favorite tree!

In the same manner, how quickly the small but precious moments of our lives pass by and if you're like me, I think, "I'll always remember this". But, with a lifetime of moments such as these, it's easy to forget the details of what exactly made those moments special. It could be the way the breeze danced through the treetops or the chattering of squirrels as they played tag, knowing full well they were teasing the dog. This is especially true with children, the amazing things they come out with, those things only a child could get away with saying these are the moments you can capture easily with my newest kit, the Brenda Pinnick Scrapper Keeper. I've designed this kit to be multi-functional, incorporating lots of journaling blocks and notepads, not to mention a calendar and plenty of folding pockets to store things in. You'll love the versatility of this kit and the warm, homey colors set it apart, easily blending into most decors. The papers are very heavy cardstock and there is plenty of bling including some glittered papers, some hot foil stamping and other specialty processes. It's so much more than just a typical scrap-booking kit, it's an organizer too!

Also, be sure to check out my newest paper stacks and chipboard kits , they're coordinated and ready to use for all kinds of paper crafting fun! The trendy colors are appropriate for all kinds of themes and are so easy to mix and match! You'll love the versatility of these and as with all of my products, the papers are archival so your designs will last for generations.

I love summer, but Autumn is my favorite season! I hope yours brings plenty of pumpkin pie, beautiful foilage and good times with friends and family!

Warmest Regards,
Brenda Pinnick

A Note From Anna Griffin
Hello again! I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and took plenty of pictures from family vacations, trips with loved ones and good times with friends to prove it! Now is the really fun part, where you get to do something creative with those photos so you can remember the summer forever.

We just had a wonderful QVC show with all new products. If you missed it, check out these new items online. Here are a few of my favorites:

This Animal Print Collection is brand new. Flocked leopard and zebra prints combined with hot pink and lime green crocodile papers are the perfect way to let your inner diva out! I thought that it would be fun to have these prints as clear stamps so you can create this sassy look over and over again!

I know it is hard to keep all of your crafting supplies organized. Who wouldn't want to be organized and stylish at the same time? That's why I designed our new craft storage line. The desktop organizer is perfect for keeping up with all of your tools and embellishments. The expandable bag perfect for crops with your friends. The best part about these fabulous finds, are the prints that they come in. Gone are the days of polyester canvas and boring solids, say hello to perfectly coordinated colorful patterns!

With Fall right around the corner, it's no wonder this kit was a hit (I know, I can't believe it either, the Summer has flown by). If there is one thing that will get me in the mood for Fall, it's the Sierra Collection . With imagery evocative of old, wood block birds and floral prints, the color palettes take inspiration from natural surroundings and remind me of the rich colors of leaves right before they fall.

Before I go, I would like to say a special thanks to all of you who watch me on QVC. Your enthusiasm makes it all worthwhile! See you next time!

Brenda Walton on QVC, September 23rd!
Greetings from sunny California! Summer is such a lush season full of ripe inspiration and memories for me, but I must admit that I'm looking forward to all that autumn 2008 has to offer, too.

In fact, I'll be with you at QVC on September 23rd during Paper Crafting Fair to kick off the first inklings of fall! Two items in particular I must recommend because they both bring much-needed zing & bling to ideas. As I'd mentioned in my last post, my these Glitter Alphabet Chipboard kit is a favorite of mine; these letters & accents are perfect for handmade greetings and layouts, but they also come in handy for home décor ideas, like this door hanger made by my friend Kara Ward. The glitter colors are just gorgeous: citrus, lavender, raspberry & aqua.

For projects that require letters to have a thinner profile, may I suggest these Alphabet Glitter Stickers? This fine glitter is firmly affixed to each letter so that there isn't "fairy dust" everywhere! I really adore the chocolate-y, bronze color, too. That is something that is very difficult to find.

Also, stay tuned that day, for my Deluxe Scrapbook Kit, too. It's brimming with goodies at a tremendous value!

Visit QVC.com for more of my exciting items .

All the best,

Brenda Walton

Crafting With Marie Osmond!
Hi Everyone!

The other day one of my young sons began giving me a verbal rundown of his Christmas wish list. I know what that means…it’s almost September!

As my family members (and most of my collectors) know, I start thinking “Happy Holidays” right around Labor Day, which is a perfect day to show you my new “Labor of Love” craft projects on QVC. Please join me on September 1st at 1 am ET. I think you’re going to love how accessible and creative these ideas are for everyone: from first time crafters to the artistic pros!

Here’s why I know they’re right for any crafter: because I developed them while I was touring the world with my brothers for their 50th anniversary show. I knew I would need a craft that was easy to take with me and to accomplish in a short amount of time.

So, I came up with some heart-“felt” Christmas decorations and gifts that could be done on the run, knowing how hectic all of our lives can get.

Wow. If I could play a crafting drum roll right now, I would.

Just wait until you see my new set of six felted Christmas stockings that are the perfect size to hold a gift card, cash, or a fun I.O.U.(hint, hint, kids!! Moms love I.O.U.’s for things like: shoveling the sidewalk, emptying the dishwasher, scrubbing out the tub) These easy little felted stockings can be done quickly while traveling, waiting to pick up the kids between activities or while locked in the bathroom for some peace and quite…smiles.

Another great craft I have been able to do on the road is needle punch. (Talk about your perfect “tension reliever!” Touring with eight men…I was needle “punching” as therapy around the world!!!)

I fell in love with the simplicity of needle punching a couple of years ago with a project I got at my local craft store. Soon after I started making my own designs. I love this kit of 6 ornaments I developed for QVC because you can make them as gift tags or hang them on the tree!

Advent calendars are just HUGE in my family. My kids love to count down the 24 days to Christmas, beginning on December 1. It is so much fun as the anticipation grows and by Christmas day you can decorate a tabletop tree! That’s what I call multi tasking. I would love to see what you do with these kits, because crafting is the best way to be creative and as unique as you are. Send me pictures of your creations…and tell me how you are making your holiday heartfelt.

Now, I’ve got to get back to rehearsing with Donny for our September 9th launch of our Vegas run at the Flamingo hotel. It’s our first time performing together in Vegas in over 28 years!(The only thing that’s changed is Donny’s voice is lower and his hairline is higher!!!! I tease him! He loves it.) It’s a fun all-ages show. Donny tries to prove he’s a better dancer than me, (he is pretty dang good) so I have to stay on my toes. Or, maybe I should stay on HIS toes. Did I hear something go “crrrruuuuunnncchh?!” Come see the show! It’s entertainment like Vegas used to be….singing, dancing, humor and a great band.

Love,
Marie

Back-To-School!
Wow, what a whirlwind of a summer from my end of the world. It always goes so fast. Hope all my "craft and design" friends out there also had safe and enjoyable sunshine-filled days. Our family events of "sunshine" began in late April and early May with two new grandbabies, safe and sound. We had some late "rain" when I had a hip replacement at the end of May. It was a major set back with recovery and I’ve ended up with a right leg that is significantly longer than my left leg (no more pretty high-heels). Of course the only place to recover is in the sunshine, with a whole bunch of photos, and card and scrap making supplies. Being on doctor-ordered restrictions, I have been forced (darn!) to sit in one place totally disabled—and have been intimately involved with all of our new designs— and get to work with these great prints and supplies to my hearts content!

Now that summer is drawing to a close and the nights are getting cooler, it is time to start thinking about fall and the start of another school year. We have been busy working on our NEW Grade School Stack and can't wait for you all to see it! Check out these cool, bright, fun designs that are sure to capture the eager and innocent faces as they begin a new school year. We also have a new High School stack we will be previewing this fall, and I have noticed that the "innocent" faces are gone when I start scrapbooking pages of my high schoolers. And, don't forget, these designs are very universal and make great cards, as well as school and craft projects all year round.

I can't wait until our QVC shows to show you this and much more. I am scheduled for QVC’s Paper Crafting Fair on September 23rd during the 2:00 A.M. time slot-- A whole hour show with ALL NEW PRODUCT! I will be on again during the 11 o-clock hour show later that morning with a few items as well. From there, I go to the UK for the LONDON QVC show on the 30th of September. There I will have up to 3 Hours of great CRAFTING WITH A VIEW programming--and one hour will be ALL NEW PRODUCT for the UK. I am really excited about these 4 upcoming hours of programming and to be able to move around again! I am even looking for "pretty high heels". . . as if anyone will even see them!

Best to all of you, I have missed you -- be sure to send a line or call in.

See You In September!
Whoa! This summer is just zooming by, isn't it? September will be here before you know it, which is fantastic for all scrappers looking for super-fun products and good deals. Tune in to QVC on September 23rd from midnight-4am ET and 9am-5pm ET for another jam-packed Paper Crafting Fair. Can't wait to show you what K&Company has to offer!

My niece had a fun-filled summer vacation with us, and now I find that I really miss hearing her sing at the top of her lungs in the shower. And who knew that I'd miss finding the crusty crusts of her sandwiches left in her lunch bag? We swam, picked cherries from the neighbor's tree, chased fireflies, painted masterpieces, ran through the sprinkler and ate lots of Skinny Cow bars.

I put a quick 30-minute layout together about her visit kind of an opening page to many more that feature her summer vacation escapades. I used K&Company's Urban Rhapsody collection, which is loaded with fun & funky typography, images and colors. I thought it totally captured her one-of-a-kind spirit. I especially love the rub-ons because they have a white base, which means they won't disappear on dark papers. Nifty, huh?

Check out my journaling block: the paper is actually from the Urban Rhapsody die-cut mat pad for photos. And I used WackyTac's adhesive dots for the chipboard letters because sometimes I want to rearrange a bit after I've stuck things down. The dots will let me gently do that without ruining the paper beneath. Love 'em.

Often, I scrap layouts for other people. I love to create something with photos that I've taken and then mail layouts to my friends who are busy moms. I'll probably send this to my niece to put in her scrapbook, a souvenir of summer 2008.

See you in September!

Monday Is Summer Scrap-A-Thon!
I don’t know about you, but this summer heat is keeping me inside where it is cool. And what better way to stay cool than to paper craft! With no holidays or deadlines looming, this is my favorite time to try new techniques and play with products that have properly aged. I also like having a few kits on hand for days when I want to be creative without having to put a lot of thought into it—the kits from QVC come with instructions and ideas that I can use as is or adapt to my needs.

So, do what I do on these warm days and grab a cool drink before heading to your crafting area to enjoy a refreshing, creative time.

Oh, the dogs say hi! They’re also hanging out in the air-conditioned house, just in case one of my crafting snacks lands on the floor. They’re always so willing to help clean up.

Have fun paper crafting!

Beginnings and Endings!!
Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the new Look Who’s Scrapbooking blog! Before I forget, check back on July 14th for QVC’s online Summer Scrap-A-Thon event! That’s four days from now!

For me any creative project has to start with something inspiring... then, it's just a little journey! I don't try to play my creations out... I kind of wish I could! But, I actually never really know what it's going to look like when I am done. So, the starting point is critical! It's the first step... then I just build on it... one little addition after another!

Why am I bringing this up? Because, I find myself using these fabulous clear stamps as the beginning of something all the time. They are perfect because the words carry a message, a sentiment or a thought that I can build from. There are quite a few to choose from. Usually it will get me going creatively! Especially with cards...it just sets the stage. But, if my creativity gets started with simply a favorite photo or an inspiring piece of decorative paper... then I find myself pulling out my stamps and working it into my creative path!

They are so versatile, so useful! I like trying different surfaces. I like making the image stand out and sometimes be subtle, creating a background! I even like stamping the same image onto different backgrounds and then compiling them onto the same project. Try different colored inks... or even stamping 3 times in a row w/out re- inking to get a fading effect (or do that twice, just off setting the word to create a same-tone shadow).

I love the ease of storage, ease of cleaning and ease of use. Try them, you'll be hooked! No matter what part of your creative journey they contribute to!

Have a great day creating!

Summer Scrap-A-Thon Is Coming!
Welcome to the new Look Who’s Scrapbooking blog!

I wanted to share a few tips with you to get in you in the mood for QVC’s online Summer Scrap-A-Thon on July 14th.

For all rub on fans- these rub-ons are so great to work with because they have the quality that all rub-ons should have- easy glide release. Raise your hand if you've have used other rub-ons and pieces of the rub-ons don't adhere or the rub-on slips a little and the image comes out crooked. It's so frustrating. I promise these rub-ons work and release just like "like butter". You put them down, gently rub, and they come off all in one piece- without having to work for it. It makes the whole experience rewarding instead of frustrating. And, they work on everything! I used them on metal tags, ribbons, buttons, silk flowers, pictures and labels. I had some letter circle tiles with the left-over letters like x, q, z, etc. I simply turned them over and used the rub-on letters on the back. Leftover tiles that would have gone in the trash became a beautiful title.

Buttons, Buttons, Buttons but without the humps and lumps!! These really cute epoxy assorted sized buttons and they are the perfect answer for those who want to use buttons but don't like the lumps, bumps, and bulk of a shirt button. The buttons are flat with just enough dome to give your layout dimension. They self stick to paper and photos, and even can even stick to each other for a clustered look. The wide range of colors means there's a button to match every layout. And if you like the look of the thread-tied buttons, just punch holes in them and tie the thread or ribbon through. They can also be cut if you want to use them on the edge of the page. They're also fun to use as the letter "o" in titles. I find myself reaching for them again and again. Visit QVC.com for more exciting items from Memories Direct.

All my best,
Tina Lewis
