Beauty Bash 2009 will be held on Sunday, April 5, 2009; reservations are not being accepted at this time. Reservation forms will be available for download from the Special Events page on www.QVCtours.com on Monday, February 16, 2009 around 9:00 AM ET. To make a reservation, please print and complete the reservation form when it becomes available. Forms may be faxed to us at 610.701.6300, and are accepted on a first come, first serve basis; space is limited. Reservations are not confirmed until acknowledged by QVC.

Beauty Bash 2009 Overnight Package and Day Event will be the weekend of April 4, 2009. Be sure to check the website, www.QVCtours.com regularly for information on when tickets will be made available.

This past Saturday we held our first ever QVC@Home Expo! People attending the event were able to sample items from Mrs. Prindables, Corky’s, Harry London, Kansas City Steak Company and many more! Fall and Holiday décor from Quacker Factory Home, Mr. Christmas and Linda Dano decorated the event floor. There were wonderful displays of bedding, toys, kitchen gadgets and appliances and so much more!

Thank you to everyone who came and made this a sell-out event! We had a great time and can’t wait to start planning our next event!

This past weekend we had about 50 people from all over, including Illinois and Florida, join us for the In the Kitchen with Bob® Overnight Package! Everyone had a great time talking with Bob Bowersox and listening to his great stories. They also enjoyed a cooking demonstration by Chef Tom from the Desmond Hotel – he even gave out menus with the recipes for everyone to take home! And, as always, the live studio audience show was great, especially watching the on-air cooking and tasting some of the things that were made.

We’re really looking forward to the next In the Kitchen with Bob® Overnight Package in October; some of our guests from this weekend are even returning for that package!

We’re very excited for our new fall events. Our home vendors will be at Studio Park showing and sampling their products on Saturday, September 27th for our first QVC@Home Expo! In October we’ll be hosting our fashion accessories on-air personalities as they share some of the hottest trends at our F.A.B. (Fashion Accessories Bash) Event. If you’d like to stay overnight for this event we are also offering the F.A.B. Overnight Package. Information and reservation forms can be found at QVC Tours under the Special Events section. We just confirmed the date on one of two great events we are planning for October. On October 7 we will hold our first Fall Fashion Event! We are currently lining up the vendors, meeting with the buyers, and working on the logistics.

We’re currently planning our first QVC Home Show Expo! We’ve been working with different vendors from electronics, home goods, appliances, and kitchen to put together this great new event. I just finished doing this weekend’s QVC All Access Tour. We had a great time! I had two people on my tour from New Jersey who did the Overnight Package and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express then came to QVC Studio Park to take the tour. Joining them was a woman from Rhode Island celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary with her best friend at QVC while their husbands were playing golf. We saw a few of the program hosts and even had the chance to see Nick Chavez and Peter Thomas Roth while they were on air! As always, this tour was great and I’d love to meet more of you.

Wow, what a day! Session 1 of QVC’s 4th annual Beauty Bash event just ended and the guests and vendors had a great time! Almost 300 guests joined us last night for the Overnight Package at the Desmond Hotel where they enjoyed dinner with the beauty vendors. At 10:00 a.m. the doors opened to excited guests ready to meet with some of QVC’s most popular beauty vendors, including Bare Escentuals, Chaz Dean, Frederic Fekkai, DuWop, Smashbox, Dr. Denese, Ojon and Philosophy to name a few. It’s been a great day so far and Session 2 is about to begin.

Over the past few weeks, guests from as far away as Connecticut and Ohio have enjoyed the QVC All Access Tour and Overnight Package. Our guests had the opportunity to go behind the scenes to see different areas of Broadcasting Design, Lighting, the QVC Shop where our set designs are created, the Studio Operations desk and a Green Room where our on-air guests spend their time before and after a show. Together, these areas create what you see on QVC on-air.

Our tour guests have met a few program hosts, including Antonella Nester, Bob Bowersox, Rick Domeier and Leah Williams, in addition to some of our on-air guests. After their tour they have lunch with our tour guide where they often ask questions and learn a little more about QVC.

The QVC All Access Tour is offered on Fridays throughout the year. An Overnight Package is also available for you to stay overnight and enjoy breakfast at your hotel before visiting QVC Studio Park for your All Access Tour. QVC Special Events held our Big Bonanza Silver Preview Event this past Friday, February 29th. Due to the success and popularity of this event, we needed more space. We moved the event to the QVC Studio Tour area. Guests were able to take a mini-tour, view the studio, and enjoy refreshments while previewing and purchasing some of the newest silver pieces which were shown on-air during the 20th Annual Big Bonanza Silver Day on March 1.

We had some special guests for the event. Sue and Gail from our jewelry Quality Assurance Department were on hand to discuss and demonstrate the strict QVC Quality guidelines. Also on hand was Bill from our Market Research group showing visitors the new QVC boxes soon to arrive in everyone’s home.
