Yes, I Q, too
We celebrate a lot at QVC. Today, we’re celebrating the start of our new blog focused on Customer Services. Thanks for checking it out!

Customers are at the heart of the dialogue everywhere at QVC. I think that with all teams making decisions centered on “what’s best for our customer,” we’ve created a shopping experience that’s so unexpected in a 21st century retail world. You tell us every day how we’re doing. We listen. Then we take action.

We select products, refine our services, and bring inspiring stories to QVC to give you the best experience possible. It’s how we continually delight our customers because we include you along the way. And, it’s got to be why millions of you keep tuning in and coming back every day.

It’s also why iQdoU? (Okay, I just had to say it.)

For the past 17 years, I’ve been working in many departments across QVC. Five of those years were even spent “across the pond” working for our QVC United Kingdom division. I can tell you that in the U.S. and across the globe, QVC employees are united by our core values like Teamwork, Commitment to Excellence, and Openness and Trust. In our dedication to you, we try to live these values daily to discover ways to continually improve. That’s just one reason I’m still here after 17 years.

Today in leading our Customer Services team – a very dynamic, interactive arm of QVC – I wanted to start a blog that gives us another way to connect with you. I see it as a place to share an inside look at Customer Services – what’s coming soon for more convenience, what we have now that makes our relationship with customers so unique, and how we partner with other pioneering teams to make the Q your shopping destination.

Who knew this blog stuff could be this motivating? I’m looking forward to bringing you a variety of topics, such as using online Customer Reviews for products, managing Auto-Delivery plans on QVC.com, exploring QVC’s rigorous quality evaluation for all products we sell, and many others.

In the meantime, have a great time finding something special at QVC.

I just listened to an hour long program on Fox Talk Radio how the customer service in this country is really BAD! Obviously, they have not dealt with QVC customer service. The only thing better are the Angels in Heaven. Thank you to all the folks behind the television camera.
I think QVC has the best service and have been impressed with the wonderful help i have received. You leave the call feeling better for having called.

I would love to work at QVC someday with customers... i love the products and company beliefs. your bring wonderful products to us.

When you reach to all people- all sizes-all interests - all income levels- you are truly a global community..
I bought an Acer Desktop computer from Q in March 2008, Q is the best, but Acer they are the worst company it has only been only been 3 months an during this time I had to return a brand new computer, also had to pay $50.00 out of my pocket to send my computer back to the company, they found out that my computer did not have a modem, when it was time to connect to the internet it wouldn't allow me to. After they returned back my computer, it shuts off on its own, once the computer gets to windows it shuts down automatically and now it has to be resent back to Acer, they fixed one problem and cause another one, basically I feel that I received a LEMON not only that Acer had to send me a new mouse, keyboard, cause the one they sent me was defective. I have only the Acer products installed on my computer it's only 3 months and I have not been able to use my computer at all. If you need to buy a computer , go with Dell, Gateway, stay away from Acer. At this point my investment in an Acer computer is total lost and I am getting ready to spend another $ 50.00 to send it back to them. You also have to pay for the bubble rap, and the box you are sending it in, so a little more than $50.00 so far Acer has been able to get additional money out of me. This LEMON is taking another Journey back to Acer.
Dan, At the bottom of this page, it reads "QVC Japan". Why don't your buyers for electronics buy Japan made products? SONY products made in Japan are excellent. TVs, computers, the list goes on. Any company that is making their electronics in Japan are quality products. Japan is the leading country world wide for electronics.
Why aren't you selling these products to America?
Q= Quality? Made in "CHINA" is NOT Quality. On behalf of AMERICAN consumers please stop buying products from China. QVC is a network in Americans homes. In my opinion I think Americans are frustrated by being flooded with China made products. We do not want to buy any products "made in china" with our hard earned money. "V"=value ,does not mean junk. QVC buyers need to change what countries they buy from. Corporations need to return to integrity. Are you the SVP that hears American voices?
I LOVE QVC...I watch it just for the entertainment, if not interested in the merchandise. However, I must speak about one concern...
Lately some of your models have been dressed in rather scanty outfits. There was one just now...7/7/08, N. Miller show, w/ a dress having a vertical slit from the bust to the waist. Two nights ago another model wore a dress cut all the way to the waist...obviously braless.
PLEASE..... keep some sense of modesty on the show. I see too much 'skin' just on the news shows!
Any one know of an american made leather handbag sold here? I am having a hard time finding one for a gift.
Not sure if QVC has any American made bags but I googled "American Made Leather Handbags" and quite a few sites came up. You never know you might find something new and exciting. Good Luck!
RE: CUSTOMER REVIEWS
to make this one short : Is QVC considering a review response link? It makes great sense to re-visit some products when there are mass negative revews E.G J01023 I've eyeballed this beauty for a couple of years- yes, reviews regarding the clasp have kept me from purchasing. Possible to re-visit the clasp problem and advise customers? This policy would ensure you are truly looking out for your customer base and righting the wrongs
any thoughts?
Thanks
I agree with one of the blogs regarding products made in China. Americans need to support American made products. I am continually sending your products back because of the quality of the product. Also, I would like to comment on the number of times (at least 3 times) that my payment was lost by your staff. It cost me extra money, time and frustration. I have been shopping with QVC for over 15 years now and because of the lack of quality of your products and support I am seriously considering devoting my shopping with a different network.
I am one of those who will NEVER purchase anything from the Q, no matter how much I like it, made in China.
I love to Q, too...I commend all of you on the outstanding work you do and to the staff that takes all the orders and complaints. It's amazing how well organized and helpful the people behind the screen are. I would like to know why Tomas Kinkade hasn't been on air in a long time? His art was beautiful and the prices were wonderful too. Is there any chance that he may come back? Thanks.....
Please get this to Susan Graver

1st , I applaud you for designing ~Susan Graver Lustra Knit 3/4 Slv Empire Waist Cardigan A78586

What happened:
Ms Nester was wearing a top I wanted to buy. Simple, right? NO

I called an hour BEFORE it was LIVE for sale to ask, What is Ms Nester wearing?" I want to buy it. No one at customer service knew what Ms Nester was wearing, and by the time it was "On Air" It was sold out. No waiting list,. nothing.

I am so so so turned off to QVC right now.
I love QVC, I have watched the shows and shopped online many many times. DH would rather I didn't!!! Yesterday, I had 8 packages waiting for me on my porch!!

I have one concern though, the sizing!! It is easy to go to a store and pick out a pair of jeans or pants and decide whether they fit or not and be able to put them back on the rack, here we can't. Sending items back is no hassle, however, we do have to pay for it. This is my concern, with so many designers and clothing lines, I wish that QVC would take in to consideration the "short" people that purchase. I fall between the womens sizing and the petite.

The "rise" on most of the pants and trousers are way to high on me. For instance, Denim & Co. Modern waist jeans are great, however the petite are too short and the regulars too long. The waist is great. Sport Savvy pants always come up under my chin when I pull them on and I always have to hem the pants no matter what brand I buy.

Please consider us that are 5'2" and have short legs with the inseam of 29-30 inches. The pant "rize" is too long.

Just found this blog trying to find a place to comment on the new IQdoU show. It is really bad. The music is so loud the hosts are having to scream. I had to turn the channel off QVC.

Now, just having found this blog I was happy to see that there are others who avoid buying products made in China. I would have ordered some of the sterling that is 99% pure if it had been made in Italy and not China. If I have options, I always pick the item made in the U.S. or somewhere other than China.
