The New Year is a great time to think about new pieces you’re going to need to pull your spring wardrobe together. And here is the good news: The new soft dressing trend will only be more important going forward, as comfort and fashion meet in the middle!
Our collection has always been about blending classic style with what’s trending. It’s about carefully selecting the right new pieces that are going to work with things you currently own and love. Keep in mind, Joan knew that looking fabulous shouldn’t mean having to break the bank. Your closet is filled with won... Continue Reading

If there was a city in the world that Joan adored almost as much as New York, it was London. From her good friendship with Prince Charles and Camilla to her beloved Ritz Hotel, Joan considered London a second home. This is a bittersweet trip for me as Joan and I shared so many fun times here over the last 25 years.
I am in London for four days with our designer Janie Amoia. We are here scouting trends and looking for fabulous design inspirations.
London is really happening for fashion right now and is considered the epicenter of trend; a home to new young designers. Londoners a... Continue Reading

Thank you to our QVC followers for your incredible support and kindness that has given me great strength and comfort in the last few months. Thank you for the outpouring of love for my friend Joan and for her daughter Melissa and grandson Cooper and for me.
Thank you to QVC for showing the world that people and relationships matter more than anything else.
And, thank you Joan. You welcomed me into your world 25 years ago and it has been one hell of a journey. I can't imagine a better life than the one you enabled me to live. A life filled with laughter, kindness, creativity, and most impor... Continue Reading

As the holiday season approaches, I look forward to getting out of New York City and relaxing at my place in Pennsylvania. I thought I would share some fun holiday pictures.
Let’s start with… THE TREE:
BEFORE AND AFTER!
Here I am up on the mountain near my place in Pennsylvania, cutting down an 11 foot Norway spruce! Add 1,500+ lights and a lot of Joan Rivers ornaments – magic!
I’ve been collecting our amazing Faberge-inspired ornaments from the very first set. They make my tree so meaningful and bring back wonderful memories of Joan.
Of course my sweet smoo... Continue Reading

…and hosted by our good friend Mary Beth Roe this Friday!!!
Almost 25 years ago, Joan made her debut on QVC. The host for her very first show, the show that launched Joan as superstar on QVC, was Mary Beth Roe. From that first day, Joan held a special place in her heart for Mary Beth. Both smart, working Moms… I think this gave them a special bond. I am looking forward to sharing wonderful memories of Joan with Mary Beth.
I always enjoyed time spent in the greenroom with the two of them. Joan with her outrageous sense of humor and salty tongue;... Continue Reading

Thanksgiving has always been a major event in my family. Tons of food, and of course lots of friends and family. I tend to invite pretty much everyone I know, the more the merrier! Joan always opened her home to literally dozens on this day and I follow her example.
We usually take turns having the big day at my place or my sister Kathy’s house in Maryland. I am thrilled this year to be having everyone to my place in Pennsylvania (not far from QVC!), and so far we are about 14 adults and (yay!!) 6 kids. Kids mean a really fun KID’S TABLE and I will be sure to share picture... Continue Reading

One of the joys of working with QVC is the long-standing friendships I’ve made over the years. My dear friend, Jane Treacy, is a wonderful example of this.
Joan Rivers taught me a wonderful lesson early in our relationship: laughter is the most important thing. Laughter will carry us through the good times and the bad times. Laughter helps us to heal. Laughter should always be the common denominator in a GOOD friendship.
Laughter is certainly something I share with my friend Jane.
I can recall a dinner party I held at my place in Pennsylvania with Jane and her lovely husband Sean, a... Continue Reading

I hope you had a chance to join me last month when my good friend Jill Bauer and I shared wonderful stories of Joan through the years. Jill and I are back for two more hours (our last show together until 2015!) and I look forward to more lovely memories and remembrances.
For our November 10th show together, Jill and I will be presenting incredible new pieces of jewelry from our partnership with CINER, the 100 year old family owned jewelry maker. CINER, arguably the finest quality fashion jewelry in the world has worked with us to create exquisite, once-in-a-lifetime pieces. And Jill... Continue Reading

Great Joan Rivers Style and Jewelry Gift Ideas
As the holiday season approaches, I will think of Joan and the joy she always felt this time of year.
For Joan, the holiday season meant delivering meals to homebound people with her favorite charity, God’s Love We Deliver. It meant decorating her homes with both Christmas and Hanukkah themes. It meant giving extraordinary gifts to loved ones. Always wonderful dinners and parties with her friends and most important, it meant time with her family.
I learned so many life lessons working with Joan for 25 years. The importance of loyal friend... Continue Reading

This past Monday, Jill Bauer and I did something we hadn’t done in our 20+ years of friendship: we took the afternoon off and met for lunch at my place in Pennsylvania. It was wonderful to catch up with Jill and share our cherished memories of Joan through the years. We had each other in stitches and in tears, and it was a perfect afternoon. When we looked at the clock, it was a 4-hour lunch that just flew by! Even my boy Roscoe had a good time!!
As I think about continuing Joan’s legacy on QVC, my heart fills with pride about the twenty-five years we shared. This Monday is an i... Continue Reading
